    I have a tankstick and working perfectly with bigbox you have to set the keyboard map rather than controller also have it setup with mame and quite easy to do its recognised as a keyboard

    Thanks @brainimpact Ill give it a try unfortunately still struggling with retroarch as is doesn't seem to remember my settings for each core which have saved but cant seem to get them to load automatically, must be something I'm doing wrong its not the most user friendly interface Ive come across I'm sure Ill get there in the end

    Thanks for your replies yeah I'm still trying to get my head around retroarch I have a couple of systems setup with no issues, Ive just tried fuse and emulates well the trouble comes to the controls, I guess I might have to setup something like vjoy to emulate a joystick as the tankstick acts as a keyboard, also in retroarch for some reason I don't have the option to save a config per core as Ive seen others do unless I'm missing something any idea why I don't have that option?

    Hi Guys Just wondered what is the recommended emulator for ZX Spectrum, I have an X-Arcade Tankstick and looking for the best solution to emulate the spectrum, also is there a solution to not using the keyboard, all games use different keys just wondering how people get around this or do you have to use the keyboard on some games? Thanks in advance

    Thanks for the quick replies Ive looked at my display scaling and its at 100% the resolution Im on though is 1366 x 768 my cheap monitor unfortunately wont accept a higher resolution could this be the issue?

    Hi Cid Great theme probably one of my favourites works nicely on my machine the only issue Im having is some of the text is cut off at them bottom on one of the views is this normal?

    Hi Jay I'm using rocketlauncher primarily for the fade screens as I think it gives a cleaner look while starting emulators through bigbox, I'm just curious where you got the artwork for those fade screens I'm just using the static console images that initially came with rocketlauncher but yours look a lot cooler
