In a platform, press the left or right direction on your controller (or up or down, depending on the view you use) and you will see a new icon at the start of the alphabetical list. This is the new filter button and will bring up a new popup window.
Ahhh okay, thanks! Is it possible to map this to a keyboard key?

I'm confused....there has been so many updates and improvements to this emulator since I imported my Amiga collection into Launchbox...used a script from another link that imported and created games for us and import into Launchbox...should I just remove all games from LB, and import them normally using the wizard in LAunchbox after installing the latest FS-UAE for the best results, because I don't believe the import script is needed anymore with the new version...
Thanks.

Seems like it should be obvious....I have 7.9...I press F12 in BigBox and regular search....I'm sure many are not using it because they don't know HOW....I must be an idiot. Help?
Thanks.

Cool, I can't wait :-)

All this awesomesauce and I don't know where to download 2.9.4 / 2.9.4dev....can't seem to find it...is it not RELEASED yet for download?
Thanks for all your hard work guys! -
Awesome, sorry been away for awhile, glad you got it working Alexis524
-
I just wish I had the time to play even 1% of my collection!
-
Also how can I see the total game count IN BIG BOX? Can this be enabled somehow?
-
Sometimes I want to enjoy big box, just cruising through it, showing it off or looking at games I have...and would love a way to single click/key and ONLY show games with front covers...
Alternatively only show ones with front cover AND video...
Sometimes the lack of a front cover really bugs me, LOL....I'm working on that, but I have a lot to do...even with a Emumovies account enabled... -
Okay thanks!

My LB cache folder is now at 91,300 files...at some point I assume all the stuff can be deleted...or do these need to remain to provide maximum performance all the time while browsing through LB? Do these clear out automatically EVER? Any reason to clear them, or problems doing so? Am I waiting hours to refresh my cache if I start fresh with this folder??

Thanks for sharing anyways :-D

I'm sure it is a new format, it's very recent and seperate to dolphin, the file extensions end up as Super Mario Galaxy.dec.iso
Actually they ended up being iso.DEC in my case
And larger than GCZ, so I guess I'll stick with GCZ... :-\

Not really, like Sentai said above...a faster CPU.....don't run other stuff while doing it...it's worth letting sit overnight....the space for 600 games is considerable....I let mine sit for hours and slept, went to work, etc..I have over 620 GC games, buy YAY now I get to add more stuff, lol....
-
LOL the WII game was worse....
Original ISO: Xenoblade Chronicles [Wii][PAL][Scrubbed]-TLS.iso 7.92 GB (8,511,160,320 bytes)GCM/ISO Xenoblade Chronicles [Wii][PAL][Scrubbed]-TLS.iso.DEC 7.95 GB (8,543,785,984 bytes)
Actually larger than the regular ISO....
Conclusion; I'm sticking with .GCZ!
Thanks anyways! -
I uncompressed this GameCube game from .GSZ format and re-compressed it with that tool you attached Zetec, and this is the result.
(uncompressed) Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Chaos Bleeds (USA).gcm 1.35 GB (1,459,978,240 bytes)
GCZ compressed Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Chaos Bleeds (USA).gcz 1.12 GB (1,209,656,207 bytes)
DEC (Gsm?) Buffy the Vampire Slayer - Chaos Bleeds (USA).gcm.dec 1.25 GB (1,348,354,048 bytes)
---
Looks like GCZ was the clear winner, at least in this example....about to try a very large (Wii) game I haven't been able to compress to WBFS (because it splits it into more than one file...) so I leave it as an ISO...we'll see what that does...
-
I'm a bit confused, in DOLPHIN it allows me to right click my existing already compressed (GCZ) games and choose DECOMPRESS ISO / SAVE decompressed GCM/ISO
I'm gonna use that tool Zetec and let you know what it does...
-
Cool....GCZ is realtime too....but do you have a link to the TCM download/instructions; can't seem to find it..I want to see if I can convert and test the compression ratio difference (I believe I can revert gcz back to uncompressed too) - thanks.

Nevermind, I disabled VSYNC and it fixed the speed issue...
-
bluemsx for MSX2 is a sped-up, controller nightmare...how do I set this to run at a regular speed? Trued both arkanoid and Dragon Buster and they are super sped up, LOL
-
Hmm apparently loading any -c "config files here", causes it not even try to launch....not sure why, but at least it works without one...
-
Fixed it....apparently I had to remove the identical CFG reference under my MSX2 in LB, just leave the core...now it opened...saved a new cfg for this....glad that worked!
-
I downloaded the full ZIP pack for the BLUEMSX emulator, and it has a machine folder with a BOAT LOAD of bios images....extracted that into the retroarch\system\machine folder...
SAME ISSUE :-(
I'm using the same core DLL and CFG file as MSX in platforms under LB right? Just a different platform name that matches the one I have my games in, correct?
-
No fmsx core is BLACK screen (after loading controller inputs msg comes up..bluemsx is completely not launching...works fine with MSX though...and yeah I uncompressed what I had into the Retroarch System folder (into a machine subfolder), seems to work for MSX anyways...hmmm...I'll try to find a different set of bioses
Thanks.

Yeah I had done it via the Special Launcher method, so now what's imported isn't accurate ...I guess I'll delete and redo it all :-)
