  1. you mentioned nothing, i dont like you at all and alot of other prolly share that feeling. IDC one bit what you want me to do i take no orders from people that act the way you do. Ill do as i please thank you, ban me, dont, idc either way as my front end is finished up pretty much. Funny how you say something to me because i know you dont like me, but said nothing to this dork about using drugs and all that, your a asshole hypicrit. so let that resonate as you remove me from the forum.
  2. Look man, idk why your so butt hurt over my comment i was trying to help you. If you truly didnt have your AV quarantine it, and its just exitting on launch there must be a error log. You need to check event viewer and see if something causing issues. You sure you installed the .net dependency? Ive only had one program conflict with lb boot and it was msi afterburner, but a few updates later it was fixed.
  3. I mean your on here talking about using cocaine, going back and forth. You claiming to be windows 10 educated is laughable, win10 comes with AV and you dont even know the abr for it. Im not gonna feed into this, 9 times out of 10 is AV or MSI afterburner stopping lb from opening, youve been told that twice now. But again i dont know what im talking about smh.
  4. missing the point? you are embodied confusion. AV is short for anti virus. You have alot to learn my friend, good luck on your journey.
  5. what do you mean exactly when you say you spent hours compiling launchbox? it comes precompiled? Maybe the cocaine is working against you here, if you want my opinion it sounds like your AV is eating a needed dll on launch.
  6. Doing a major overhaul of additional apps the past few months, adding anything i can to each of my games. When i got around to adding rom hacks and mods to each game I realized that retroacheivements actually supports some of these hacks. So i needed a way to differentiate all the normal hacks from the RA supported ones. Turns out the solution was simple, lb must support unicode symbols because the trophy emoji displays properly! So i can now "mark" certain rom hacks that RA supports by adding the trophy symbol at the end. Combined with the RA plugin already available I never miss a RA supported title in my collection. As a avid trophy hunter this has been really useful to me the past few weeks, figured i'd share the info in case anybody else thinks its useful. Just copy the 🏆 symbol and paste it into the additional app title.
  7. I did this exact thing last year, i ended up keeping rocketlauncher as part of my setup but in a way it was removed. First off your likely going to lose bezel support if you don't have plans to install retroarch, this is the only reason rocketlauncher remains in my setup for a few emus i dont use RA for (ps2, few others). They will look the same tho yes, likely even better using RA shaders. I let RL go for everything else and didnt look back. i use retroarch because in my opinion its way better, bezels look great with it, list goes on and on. You can even have custom themes and fonts per system with RA, its VERY customizable. Pretty sure LB can do the rest of those things although i could be mistaken.
  8. I noticed that too lately its been a bit higher on my end as well, i hit 4gb yesterday after having LB open for hours doing a bunch of edits. Usually for me 1.5-2gb is normal. Depends on how much ram you have i assume, i have 4x8GB(32GB).
  9. Ah yeah, i have a exit hotkey already mapped i just thought that maybe i was missing something to get it to close on its own after video is done playing. I can exit with either esc, pause menu, or controller button combo. I actually map my home button to snap screenshots. But your right its really not a big deal, i'd rather hit esc or exit button combo than lose my nice bezel setup and shaders. Its odd tho thats why i posted, because it seems to "want" to exit after playing the video. It goes back to LB for like 1 sec then RA returns with that "no items" menu.
  10. I use retroarch's ffmpeg to play most of my game related video content (commercials, bonus videos, movies, making of, etc), I add them as a additional apps to corresponding games. Retroarch is great for this because you can use old tv bezels and crt shaders. I only have one small issue with RA end, i can't seem to get RA to close after the video playback has finished. Documentation doesnt speak of any exit-after-playback switches or anything. Hitting ESC after the video is finished isnt the biggest deal, does anybody know if im missing something? I tried the --eof-exit switch but im pretty sure that only works with the BSV playback/recording stuff. Not sure how i would go about coding up batch scripts either...because i have no way to tell if RA is playing a video or not.

    N64 DD

They load just fine for me using Mupen64plus_next. https://www.libretro.com/index.php/mupen64plus-next-2-0-64dd-support-angrylion-and-gliden64-in-one-build-parallel-rsp-support-and-android/ alternatively you can pass the "--subsystem ndd" command as well to RA. If your trying to boot a rom thats ndd only, with no disk/cart combo (ex. Super Mario 64 -Disk Version) use Parallel n64 for that. Both need a bios installed in system folder.
  12. Dolphin.exe -n 0000000100000002 This command works for me, boots directly into the wii menu. Dolphin.exe -n 0001000248414341 This boots directly into MiiMaker. The -C switch is for the config file, i never had any luck with that. As far as i know there isnt a switch to mount a iso/etc in dolphin. You can "change disc" within the wii menu in Disc Channel, not sure if it actually boots the iso or not, ive never used it. I only use my menu for nostalgia, managing my saves, miis, that kinda stuff.
  13. Thanks Rlad, making another playlist named XBox 360 and adding all official games to said playlist worked.
  14. I just recently started using playlist's somewhat in LB to try to organize my collection a bit better. I changed my default view to platform categories and everything works as expected, its a bit wonky making playlists but overall im happy with the feature. I was wondering if there might be a way to hide the games i have in a playlist from the main platform category? I posted a screenshot below of one example, i dont want to see the XBLA games (orange cover) mixed in with the 360 games (green cover). I was hoping to separate them and have only the 360 games listed when i highlight XBox 360, and if i click XBox Live Arcade all the XBLA games show.
  15. Trust me man i know the pain, i hated updating my RA and losing all settings....they say you can just copy paste but we all know that can sometimes ruin ur settings and stuff. last time i updated it broke my setup and had to reinstall RA so i kept mine kinda ancient for quite some time lol. Pretty sure the hotkey bezel switching has been there forever i just overlooked it like most people. I remember using it on psp and ps3 and it had that feature. Recently i updated RA and redid the whole thing since the LB team is integrating RA sometime this year. This time i wont be losing anything when i update i setup custom dirs. Well when you get around to this jus shoot me a msg if you need help with the bezel cfgs, id glady write them up for ya if you needed me to.
  16. i would have to admit something like that would have been useful this morning haha. None the less it wasnt headache inducing just thought i had some xml corruption because i couldnt find any duplicates.
  17. I found it sir, It counts additional apps as duplicates. Wasnt there before because i revised the Gamecube stuff last month. I had a additional app for each of those games for pokemon channel for some reason and it slipped past my view there. once i removed the additional apps for fire red from the gamecube pokemon games, it no longer was red in audit menu. Thanks for clearing that up c-beats i didnt realize there was a couple forms of logic for duplicates. Guess ill just have to deal with the red lines for now but at least i know its just because of the additional apps. thanks for the help
  18. I dont think i even have any of those games added as additional apps actually now that i checked, those gba roms get loaded automatically when i load doplhin. Theres really no reason at all for those to be flagged as duplicates. Theres some other games that i do load that way, not these pokemon games though...im stumped.
  19. 1. I can confirm i do not have any other games from any platform using the pokemon game ids from the LB database. I never mash them, its either got a ID for that game for that platform or i leave the LB ID blank and i fill in the info myself. 2. I can confirm that i do not have that file added anywhere besides additional apps. I have them added as additional apps for select titles i should say. For example in the gamecube platform, pokemon box/revolution both have additional apps linked to the pokemon games they support. Sometimes with their own emu (if compatible with only said version, etc). When i do this i use same settings, add said pokemon game as additional app, use retroarch as the emu, give it a name, done. Its never added through the importer. 3. I can confirm that there are no other duplicate pokemon games in my GBA platform list using the same titles, no mods added its strictly a additional app install with those i hate finding the art and info for all those mods and such. I only have 6 pokemon games for GBA, one is pinball. They show as they should in LB. Just flagged as duplicates in the audit menu. I noticed rocketlaucher registered them that way too, but it makes sense since it reads the launchbox xml files. I used to load the pokemon games in another fahsion though, maybe thats what caused this? Previously, when i first started setting up my launchbox i noticed a save file compatibility issue within the different emus for gba, so i used different core for loading those 5 games being marked. I did that by pointing the rom path to retroarch.exe, and adding the corresponding cmd line stuff to use vba as the core for those games. That way i had a sav file for those games, which i needed in a specific format to be compatible with pokemon box/ revolution etc. well i realized later when i got to revising that platform that i could do it in a more organized fashion and changed the rom paths back to the actual roms. I did that months ago though....and they didnt flag as duplicates when i changed it.
  20. I know I already told you once that these are great, but i figured i'd stop by again and say damn bro, these are hands down the best retro bezels ever created. ive been using these for maybe a year now and you notice all the small things, fine details, when your using them to game for hours on end. I have completely redone my gaming pc to match your retro themes as well, for a seemless arcade experience. I owe you a huge thanks, i can tell these took alot of time to make. I know your busy with the lights off arcade bezels which also blow my f**** mind, just wondering if you will ever return and update this pack a bit? Gamecube one would be perfect as i run all those games in 4:3. I really enjoy these handheld bezels too, the thumbs just add realism to me. Would be epic to get NDS/3DS but i understand why you wouldnt want to do the hinge style bezels. Also, you might know this already but you can add more than one bezel to that retroarch cfg file and kinda mash your "color themed" bezels of the same type together. For example gameboy color, its the same bezel just a dif color, and since youve done such a superb job of aligning these they seemlessly switch between themselves. Just set a hotkey to switch bezel and edit the cfg file. The cfg looks like this; overlays = 6 overlay0_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Transparent_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay1_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Purple_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay2_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Green_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay3_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Pink_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay4_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Blue_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay5_overlay = Bezel_Nintendo_Game_Boy_Color_Yellow_Mr_RetroLust.png overlay0_full_screen = true overlay1_full_screen = true overlay2_full_screen = true overlay3_full_screen = true overlay4_full_screen = true overlay5_full_screen = true overlay0_descs = 0 overlay1_descs = 0 overlay2_descs = 0 overlay3_descs = 0 overlay4_descs = 0 overlay5_descs = 0 I made some other cfgs as well for like jap games, they use the famicom systems instead of USA by using retroarchs "content directory" cfgs, you can change the bezel "if" content is ran from "t-eng" folder, etc. which was a really cool find. Anyway keep up the great work man, i stop by here every week to see what ur up to. salutations.
  21. Having a weird issue where launchbox claims that i have duplicate roms when i know for a fact that i do not. When entering audit mode for my GBA titles it registers all the pokemon games as duplicates, even though you can see in my attached thumbnail that they are not. I cannot uncheck the duplicate checkbox, i cannot reimport them after deleting them (unless force duplicates is checked of course). It did not do this previously btw, i just revised that platform maybe 6 months ago...ish. Guess what im asking is, there a way to fix this? I read another kinda old thread about this issue and all they said was manually edit it? what does that mean? I posted a screenshot of my GBA platform audit list, sorted so all duplicates are visible at the top.
  22. I have been experiencing this issue for a long while now....I have been using it with videos enabled lately (since about 11.13) by switching it to WMP as video playback. If you edit the titles in audit mode it wont crash as well, I havent had a crash since i switched the video playback app to WMP. I know this isnt a true fix to the issue as wmp wont play some file types. All my gameplay videos are mp4 so using WMP isnt a issue for me for now. I added VLC as a emu and use it as i see fit for things that truly need vlc. Ive been revising my collection for maybe 2 months solid, not a single metadata edit crash since the switch to WMP from VLC. Means the issue is likely coming from VLC, or something to do with how its being used within launchbox. A while back when i first commented on this switching to WMP did nothing, it would still crash. Sometime during 11.1X updates something was changed or fixed, switching to WMP playback now stops the hang (crash). Hope this helps, I know i was getting pretty frustrated when it was crashing on me every 5 edits. Its a decent temp fix until they figure out whats really going on one day.
  23. I've been having this problem for quite some time....pretty sure ive narrowed it down to a VLC problem on my end. I will get hang and have to close out of launchbox, usually after editing a game or as OP said just doing some speedy navigation. At first disabling the auto play of videos seemed to fix it, but with the last few updates it no longer was a temp fix for me, changing it to Windows Media Player as default video app seemed to have fixed it for me for now. Havent had a hang or "not responding" for like 6 days now. Used to get several a day. Hopefully it gets sorted out at some point...
  24. I agree! and at that its WINDOWS DEFENDER (the one they claim to use) thats flagging it as a virus. Blaming it on a antivirus thats embedded in windows 10 next? been hours and still no response im legit done with this mess.
  25. i can verify that downgrading to v1.13 works. Pretty upsetting that its now almost noon and not a single official statement from any of the devs or mods smh. I'll stay away from updates for a while.
