  1. This worked great for me all the way in the future in 2022.
  2. Hello Joe, Thanks for replying and yes they're all zipped. I was able to fix this problem by removing everything from the parameters and then I got exit working with only adding -batch, but when I had both in the command parameters nothing works. My new issue is seeing a progress bar when zipped/7z files are being extracted. Could you confirm if this is just not a feature that's available yet in LB?
  3. I fixed this problem by removing the fullscreen from the comand parameters.
  4. I'm having this issue and using the new command parameters don't seem to work. I see a black dos window for a moment and then nothing. used to have 0 issues with ps2/pcsx2 but none of my games work. Using the latest nightly of pcsx2 and all games work directly through pcsx2. Pics included, any help is appreciated as I'm stumped.
  5. Found the problem. I use Rivatuner OSD to send hardware data to the game like Vid Memory and GPU Usage. This never really worked for Big Box so I just disabled this feature for Bigbox specifically. Heads up if anyone's using any type of OSD software like Afterburner.
  6. Hmmm... strange. I'll try to replace the DLL with a different copy but I didn't do anything other than update so this is strange.
  7. @neil9000 I was using Imagesearch and Youtube Scraper but I removed them. Still crashing. I see some basic information in the Eventvwr Application: BigBox.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception. Exception Info: exception code c0000005, exception address 00007FFBB320FD0C This happened immediately after uprading to the latest beta so I figured it was an issue with the Beta. I was originally launching games in Bigbox then I went to launch 'desktop view' Launchbox to add some new games. I was prompted to DL the latest Beta which I did... added my games then re-launched Big Box and no go. 8. Anyone else getting an immediate crash when launching BigBox or is it just me?
  9. Big Box is crashing immediately after updating to the latest beta with no changes from me. Is there a crash or error log located anywhere in the install folder that I can post for troubleshooting?
  10. I second the progress bar that's all it really needs. At first, I had no idea if it was working or not until I checked the videos folder and saw videos being downloaded rapidly.
  11. Just wanted to say thank you so much for creating this. I want all of my games to have an associated video and I usually download them manually via Youtube downloader and it's very time consuming. Thanks to Jason for enabling this feature and thanks again srxz for creating this.
  12. Finally got it to work but I had to refresh the image cache. Thanks everyone!
  13. Hey guys, I'm having an issue in the latest beta with clear logos for the playlist name (ex: Midway CLassics). Normally when I add a new platform the clear logo for that platform is automatically downloaded when I download media but I'm missing something with playlist. Could anyone please assist me with this one as I'm trying to showcase my setup tomorrow help greatly appreciated!
  14. Thanks for the detailed post CId. This is just what I was looking for. I'm sure it'll take some time to get the theme video library up but this is a great start thanks again!
  15. I checked out the unified widescreen theme project but those seem to just be intro videos. Where on emumovies can I find these ( sorry for all the questions >.<).
  16. Hey @DOS76 I think you're right. I just tested updating one of my games and I selected the only option with 'theme' in the name but nothing happened.
  17. Hello @neil9000 I do have a premium Emumovies account and thanks for assisting. I've been doing HS for awhile so I have about 500GB worth of images/themes/videos downloaded already. I have a two part question. 1. Since I have these themes downloaded and working in HS is there any way to get them working in LB/BB? I already have all my game vids and box art that I pre-downloaded working in LB simply by changing around the vid/front boxart folder paths. 2. In LB, when downloading metadata and media there are lots of different to select. Which option should I select to get the HS themes like I saw in the video above. Thanks again!
  18. In @sentaibrad video I see the Mame games all have themes for the games like HS. How is that done?
  19. I put the .mp4 in videos\systemname\themes and enabled background videos in critical zone theme but I don't see the video playing in big box. Any Idea what I'm doing wrong?
  20. Maddoc this loos really interesting. Do you know if there's a video of this in action?
  21. Hello, I'm a HS user wanting to move over to LB mainly because of it's simplicity and and frequent developer updates. So far I'm using Big Box with City hunter and the Retro theme but as a HS user I'm seeing some pretty big features that I feel are needed especially for cabinet setups. Even though the themes and the cinematic intros look nice, I'm seeing that there's really no way to differentiate your systems. The only differentiating factor is that the game clear logos look different. I have about 6 systems setup in LB (still testing) and since every system uses the same theme everything kind of looks the same. If you're not sure what I mean, check the video below and you'll notice that every system has an intro video and most games have a them of their own to differentiate everything. I know that the devs are aware that something like this is missing, my question is, are there any talks or plans to get a feature like this implemented? As a HS user I can honestly say that LB is a better piece of software; it's faster and user-friendly which is always good. But at the same time, as a HS user I find it very hard to switch without some way to differentiate my systems and games. Yes HS is a slower and more outdated software but if I'm starting to think that it has such steep pc requirements because it's able to do per-game themes at a decent speed if your cpu is up to date. If there is some way to do this today then please let me know; even if per-game themes aren't avail like in HS is there some way to maybe add a custom background so when I enter Sega Genesis I see a Sonic background for all games or something like that?
