Hello, I have downloaded the mame bezels for retro arch but they wont show when i launch a game in retor arch like 1941. i see all the folders are there. any ideas??

Hello, Looking for some assistance with this. Trying to get the bezels to work with MAME. All the rom names match the config files.

when I downloaded the mame bezels it put them in retroarch/overlays/arcadebezels not retroarch/overlays/gamebezels/arcadebezels do we need to move them?

i cant even get the mame rom bezels to work. can you give me some tips? all the names match is there a config file i need to edit to activate them?

yea, i think im going to try and re download my rom sets, but the mame is correct. not sure why is not working. weird.

how did you get the mame rom bezels to work?

also my mame rom set is solid. not sure why the bezel would not work on the mame roms at least.

all my systems work good. i have no issues at all. I just wanted to add bezels to my roms. All roms use retro arch with the exception of dolphin. but when i used the bezel project i guess the rom names were not perfect so the bezels don't work. sorry about the rom url sharing comment.

i have a url that has no-intro-rom-sets. Ill share it with you if you can share your testing results with me lol

was wondering if it would better to go down the route of re downloading the rom packs again. also i have a proper mame rom set and the bezels dont show up neither. I ran the bezel project for mame. it asked me to point to the mame rom folder and the retro arch folder. I did that i downloaded the bezels but I dont see them when i play the games.

is there a script or another way that will scan your roms and rename the bezels to match your roms? I have over 3000 roms , all working perfectly on launchbox and dont want to start renaming roms..

understood, they should make it so that it downloads them into the roms folder or name the file to what your rom is.. oh well.. thanks for your help.

wait, i have over 3000 roms, all working perfectly since launchbox scans and scrapes all my roms. everything is working perfectly. your saying i have to go thru all 3000 roms to make sure the names match each bezel? i thought it was scraping the roms and downloading the bezels to match my roms but i dont have the time to go thru all 3000 roms for name matches

i see the folders that the bezel project downloaded in my retro arch folder but when i launch the games the bezels dont show up? any ideas?

yea, found it before you posted. I watch all of eta primes videos. so i downloaded the bezel project. it downloaed all the bezels and i can see them in my retroarch folder, but they dont work when i launch the game. I verified that the correct core is selected as per bezel project info. but the bezels wont show up. is their a step im missing?

ok, i think i got it. Mr. RetroLust thank you. i took your advise . I mapped a key for switching views and now i got what i wanted.
