It's responsive and it mostly looks good on 4:3 screens. Should work on 5:4 and 16:10 also.

Made few minor tweaking and fine tuning. I think this theme is ready to ship soon. Here are all the views.I think I managed to get enough variation between the views. So they feel unique. If someone could help me test this one more time, I would be grateful. PLATFORMS GAMES

I think you maybe right. I might scale down the width. Trying to keep the view in balance, so the menu can't be too small or it looks separate afterthought. I'm trying to keep the menu width the same between views, so it would look consistent when view changes.

I know the feeling being torn :) But I have made up my mind and going to drop the box art from here so you don't have to worry that anymore :D What I have learned when designing these is that you need the empty space for eyes to rest. If the views are filled with irrelevant stuff it becomes exhausting to scroll through the games. This is the mother of all BigBox views and the hardest to get right. So things can still change when I have done testing.

So this is the new text filters view now, In testing phase. I just had to drop the box art. Too much stuff is not good. Box art will be included in most views, so I thought I can drop it from here. This uses fan art, no fallback because box art looks bad when cropped. Here is the big video view Logos and Device images (125 included)

Hi there, thanks and your welcome. I have already made some changes to this text view. It's going through some changes because it was too boring to look at and the focus was in the wrong elements. So I was not quite happy with it when I actually tried using it. Hopefully I can find a way to make this view look and feel great. Pulse will have lot's of different views, some views will support the videos. It shouldn't even matter what aspect ratios you use. I'm waiting for the new Coummunity Creator Tool, but I think I will publish this theme without the new wall views. I'll just add those later.

Still making this. Now testing with tv and making changes mostly to the graphics. I used to dislike the clear logo wheels, but I'm kind of proud with this one and surprised how much I use this wheel, although it shows only one game per view.

Made some changes to TextGamesView. Good or bad?. Should be more inline with the new views. This maybe my best execution on this monster view to date.

More! I think this is now my favorite platform/playlist view. Again, no custom banners needed (Uses clear logo and device image). Responsive layout.

And this is from BigBox, This view actually works quite well and feels fresh. Not for large gamelists.

One more view in development. I'm thinking of drawing an arcade cabinet for this one to display the screenshots/videos. I will add arrows for this view also.

Wheel easing option is not working in BigBox since 11.10.

If you want to get this done before you have to go back to real work, i'd say go with the TextGameView v4 , It has good balance, has a proven and tested layout and you won't have to deal with the experimental navigations. BUT, just wanted to say that it's your design. You should make it look like it's made by you. So my final word is: Go with with your gut and choose yourself. There are so many different opinions, so you won't never satisfy them all. Make a theme you would like to use yourself.
