  1. Hi @damageinc86,

Yeah there are "sets". The Taito X games are not traditional emulator paired with roms though. They are setup like pc games. Each one has it's own emulator executable and config settings. You have to set them up individually.

For controller settings though I recommend setting up one game and copying the config file to all the other games in your set. They you don't have to go through controller setup every time.

I think I setup a fake emulator and then manually pointed to each game.exe executable in the set.

That's the way I did it I don't update my software anymore. So the new versions of LB might be doing this differently now.

For good tutorials look up colpipes1978 and simply austin.

  2. Hi @damageinc86

The TAITO X emulator is RH LOADER.

The initial start up screen is red and black and says virus

It's not a virus. I don't know why the developer made the software this way.

There is an .INI file that you have to open to agree to the terms and then the warning goes away and the games work.

You'll then need to run the "Game Loader Config" then do the following below:

    Windows 10, "C: \ Users \ USER NAME \ AppData \ Roaming \ Game Loader All RH \ TTX.ini"
Windows XP, "C: \ Documents and Settings \ USER NAME \ Application Data \ Game Loader All RH \ TTX.ini"

-Open TTX.ini with notepad and modify this:

    [Ignore]
    Warning=agree

And then run the "Game Loader Installer"

Game Loader All Rh - Page 5 - ARCADE PC DUMP LOADER - Emuline - Emulation Arcade PC Retrogaming Game Jeux

  3. Hi @Rauzzman80 ,

I have another thread setting up RH LOADER.

To get gameloader to exit properly I had to set all my controls using the typex_config_2.0 and jconfig depending on the game. You may only need to do one of these but do both is needed.

Copy the input.bin and typexconfig.bin in your "..\SV" folder to all your games so that all the controls are completely configured.

then to exit the emulator without any errors.

    change the following

You'll then need to run the "Game Loader Config" then do the following below:

    Windows 10, "C: \ Users \ USER NAME \ AppData \ Roaming \ Game Loader All RH \ TTX.ini"
Windows XP, "C: \ Documents and Settings \ USER NAME \ Application Data \ Game Loader All RH \ TTX.ini"

-Open TTX.ini with notepad and modify this:

    [Ignore]
    Warning=agree

    Game Monitor =1

How do i specify this to only one joysticks button? I have a specific exit button on my cab Joy12 however for player 2 it is not an exit button it is actually a Menu button. Also have controllers and if I set it to just Joy12 then whatever is joy12 on the controllers exits the game while playing.. Please advise and thank you for your time in advance!

    Hi Eccocade,

JayJay wrote the scripts for me when I posted.  Maybe you could ask directly and see how you go.

Just go to >Tools>Manage Emulators and edit Mame. You will see the default command line parameters box on the first tab. Delete -keyboardprovider dinput and test.

If you are running a version that old that is likely the issue. The update added the paramenters -keyboardprovider dinput to the default command line. With old versions of Mame this will not work. Try removing it and see if things work again. If it does unfortunately you will either have to keep doing that work around or update your Mame and Roms. With new features being added to Launchbox I would recommend bringing your roms and emulators to more current states.

If you run a game directly in Mame (not using Launchbox) they still work correct?

If so, try going into Launchbox and turn off Startup screens globally (for all emulators) or just turn it off for Mame and see if the games launch. I would turn it off in the Launchbox and BigBox settings if you turn them off globally.

Hi @Retro808, Thanks for getting back to me. Yes running the game directly through mame works perfectly and runs the game. Ok I will try turning off the startup screens. Although the 9.7 version of LB had startup screens and mame worked fine then.

    thanks in advance.

  7. Hi @JoeViking245

I think version .158 it's old I know. I am happy to stick with the version I have since it's all working in previous versions on LB. I have all my other emulators working fine. I am looking for a solution to roll back the update. I installed LB 9.7 over the top of 9.8 and then LB would not initialize and then load at all.

So then I reinstalled update 9.8 and I am back where I started.

Is there a clean rollback the update to an earlier version of LB?

Can you be more specific as you what you mean by Mame is not working?

What or how is it not working?

    Hi @Retro808

The Mame emulator does not load the games. I get a launchbox loading screen and and launchbox game over screen.

Just go to your arcade platform on the left of launchbox, then click on a game then ctrl a to highlight them all, then go to tools/change roms folder path.

Hi Guys since update 9.8 everything is working except for mame the suggestion by @neil9000 is not working please help thanks in advance

  10. Good Morning,

Ok so I used this tutorial from Harrison Hacks.

It does show how to configure input in daphne loader.

As far as xinput not working, you could use a keyboard mapper like joy2key or antimicro to map keyboard to your joypad

or try https://www.x360ce.com/ to emulate a xinput controller. I use this method a lot.

    cheers

  11. Hi G,

I think I can answer part of your question,

When you import MAME roms, you scrape media and there is a option to select region of NORTH AMERICA

I am not sure what the other options are MAME typically have USA, AISA, JAPAN & WORLD REGIONS

    Cheers B

  12. Hi Do you mean you have the xbox one controller synced to windows 10?

I would recommend making sure the joystick control panel is recognizing your controller first. Preferably even connect the controller to your pc using the usb cable. Then see if BB saves your config with the controller connected via usb.

From there you will know if BB is struggling with the controller because it is connected via bluetooth.

I would also update all the controller drivers for windows 10

    cheers b
