sansa
Hi, i try to add some mame roms on my launchbox, but when i start the game the emulator can't find the roms...if i start it from the emulator instead the game would load correctly :( Any help? Sorry for my bad english :(
DOS76
Did you add the MAME ROMs to the LaunchBox folder if so then MAME doesn't know where to look for them either use them from where they were imported from or add your new path to the MAME.ini. If you didn't import them into the LaunchBox folder then I don't know what the issue could be.
sansa
yes i add it to the launchbox folder, with command line mame it's work like a charm but with mameui64 no :(

DOS76
I'd have to look at my setup I thought I was using MAMEUI in LaunchBox and I don't have any issues but I may just be using regular MAME since I don't want to use the UI anyway just want LaunchBox to launch the game. Zombeaver
I'm not sure about MAMEUI as I use MAMEPlus, but with it you need to setup the actual mame.exe (or whatever the non-UI exe is called) as the emulator in Launchbox, not MAMEPlusUI - the UI exe will just launch...the UI, not a game. LB is serving the same purpose as the UI anyway.
DOS76
I'm using MAMEUI without any issues and it launches directly into whichever game I choose. These are the default command line parameters that I have set -skip_gameinfo -now I would try starting the whole process over again but leave your games in their original locaton
Jason Carr
Yes, MAMEUI works fine, but I've noticed that settings can be extremely finicky between different versions of MAME/MAMEUI. I'm not sure how it works or how the settings storage is different between them but try to hunt down the setting in the MAMEUI interface. I've had similar issues where MAME works fine but MAMEUI (in the same folder) doesn't because it somehow has different settings.
