PCEjin Questions (Controller & Full Screen)

Hello - I installed PCEnjin for TurboGrafx-CD. Everything seems to be working (for the most part), but I do have 1 issue and 1 question: Issue: I was able to map player 1 to my xbox 360 controller. When I try to map player 2 to my second xbox 360 controller is doesn't allow me and shows it as disabled. Anyone have success using 2 controllers with PCEjin? Question: Can I get PCEjin to boot full screen? I only see options for 4x. Thanks again!

If there is a command line argument for full screen then you can use that, but I don't know if one exists. Are the PC Engine cores in RA not working for you?

I used PCEjin because in your YouTube video you said you couldn't get a core to run turbo grafx cd properly. I'd much rather use RA. Which fire for turbo grafx cd works best?

I believe that he later discovered there was an issue in that version and with some of his files that was causing the problem they work great for me and I'm pretty sure you can use either the pce fast or supergrafx core and both work.

Thanks Derek - Which fire do you use? Any tips on bios or anything else? Like I said I have the correct 3.0 bios named and in the system folder for pce_fast but doesn't seem to load.

Can you get it to load from outside of LaunchBox.

No, I always get things running outside then try inside. I have not been able to get turbo grafx cd running in retro arch using pce-fast. Is that the core you're using? Did you do anything other than putting the bios in the system folder?

Any help is appreciated - I have spent a few hours trying the pce-fast core, the supergrafx core and every bios i could find. They work in PCEjin but not in RA. I obviously prefer RA and if you are saying you have it working, then it must be something that i'm missing. Thank you!

PCE Fast doesn't work for me I am using SuperGrafx. I am fairly certain it is due to BIOS, there is a lot of wrong ones out there.

Brad - thank you. I've tried s few bios files with the supergrafx core that didn't work. The bios would work in PCEjin but not RA. Do you know what yours was called before you changed it to syscard3? Lord-monk - I'll check it out but I have all other cd based games working. This one is just impossible for some reason. Thank you everyone

If none of this works for you, it might be worth trying out Bizhawk , it's a TG16/CD emulator that was custom coded for accuracy/TAS and works great in conjunction with LaunchBox.

So we figured out what the problem was, and it was the same problem for me. @angelobodetti had bad rips of the games, with good rips they're loading great in RA.

Yea it was the rips. They were working in PCEjin but not in RA so I assumed the rips were fine. All good now, thank you all for the help.
