Honestly we do have stuff like this, they're just really few and far between. I've got a couple of good local shops, though none are anywhere near this massive. There's one in Philadelphia that I've always wanted to go to called Classic Game Junkie.

Yeah that's more like a retro gaming store and we have those up here in Canada as well but that place Hard Off is like an army surplus store but for video game stuff.

the prices people are asking for retro consoles in Australia is crazy, I've seen SNES for $200, Saturn's for $220, Dreamcast $300, NES $200-250, SMS / Megadrive $150/250. not to mention some of the more rare games alone are bringing up to $180 each....

if I knew prices would go through the roof I would have my consoles when I was a kid

Damn, that is crazy high. Here in Canada NES is around 60$, SNES is around 90 - 100$, Saturn is around 100$ as well, Genesis / Megadrive is 60$. Game prices vary depending on the game of course.
