DOS76
You could always switch it to RetroArch to MAME after the import. I had thought you were trying to use stand alone MAME.
Charco
Ok, import completed and now I get 2,736 games. Much more manageable! This seems to have highlighted an issue with choosing RetroArch as the default emulator on import for the Arcade platform. I imagine once the roms are imported, users can choose their default emulator anyway. Might be something @Jason Carr could take a look at. Ok, tested a game and it works! The game launched as normal and did not open in a window behind LaunchBox! Thanks for all your help! Edited September 23, 2016 by Charco
DOS76
Make sure that check box isn't checked because that will break your MAME games from working.

Charco
So I scraped all the metadata for MAME, a lot missing I guess. Is there anywhere I can get a full pack of MAME clear logos? It looks pretty ugly at the moment in BigBox and I don't have the heart to do any more manual editing. I changed the emulator back to RetroArch MAME and the games appear in a window behind BigBox still making this emulator unusable for this platform. I think the RetroArch MAME core is simply broken right now. EDIT: I found a clear logo pack fro MAME her: http://emumovies.com/forums/topic/10842-mame-game-logo-pack/ Looks much better now There are plenty of duplicate games still, I have about seven 1941s for example, so I guess I will have to delete those manually. It's getting there! Edited September 23, 2016 by Charco
