mr589 Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 All, I'm new to the Launchbox scene and I am unable to get any custom theme to work. I'm running the latest 6.9 version and the custom themes(Minimal HD and Metallic) I've dl'd are visible in Big Box mode. My problem is when the theme is selected from the Options>View menu the changes do not take affect. The default theme is still in place when I back out, even though the settings have changed and saved. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!! Quote
Thanos Reigns Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 That sounds bizarre. switch to one of the new themes and when you get back to the platform view hit the comma key to cycle through the available views. see if that helps Quote
mr589 Posted September 23, 2016 Author Posted September 23, 2016 Solved: User-error. The contents of the custom theme folder were in another folder 1 level below with the same name(Which explains why there were visible in Big Box). Extracted the contents properly to resolve the issue. Thanks! 1 Quote
HotMommasCowboy Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 @Thanos Reigns, I realize this is kind of an old post, but I have a quick question. In your comment you say to hit the comma key to cycle through views. Do you know if something has changed since you made this comment? The reason I ask is because when I hit the comma key, nothing happens...actually, I've hit all keys and nothing switches the view unless I go into views and change it there. "X (& ESC)" closes big box. "N" lowers my volume and "+" increases my volume. Thanks for your help. Quote
Retro808 Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 (edited) @HotMommasCowboy In BigBox settings under the keyboard mappings you can set the "switch view" option to whatever key you want. I cannot remember if it is set by default or not. But just head to that setting and set a key of your choice. Edited September 4, 2017 by Retro808 Quote
HotMommasCowboy Posted September 4, 2017 Posted September 4, 2017 @Retro808, Thank you!!! Something so simple and it's eluded me for several hours!!! Although, it would have helped if I looked into that setting. Had I done that, I'd have realized nothing was set. Doh!!! Thanks again. Quote
