TentaclePentacle
Retroarch is not working with PPSSPP. When I try to open a game it just goes to a black screen. When running in debug this is what I get. Any help is appreciated. Lordmonkus
For the PPSSPP core you need a PPSSPP folder in your \Retroarch\system\ folder which contains all sorts of stuff like shaders, icons and other stuff which is available as a download if you look around. Unfortunately I cannot remember where I got all mine from, it's been a while. I would suggest just using the stand alone version of PPSSPP anyways, it is in much better shape. That isn't to say the RA core is bad at all, it is fairly good but the stand alone is just way better.
TentaclePentacle
I do have all of those files in the correct location but i still black screen. The games run fine when i use the stand alone PPSSPP emulator. However when I run PPSSPP in launchbox it crashes. Ideally I would like to get all my stuff working within launchbox and retroarch is working "better" than PPSSPP at the moment for that. Lordmonkus
PPSSPP should work just fine with Launchbox, it works perfectly fine for me. If you can post some screenshots of your emulator config screens in Launchbox maybe there is something off in your setup.
LogicalEgo
I have always had issues with PPSSPP in RA. After lots of headaches I ditched it for the Standalone PPSSPP. It works flawlessly with LB/BB.
SentaiBrad
There aren't many cases to stay away from RA cores, but PSP is one of them unfortunately. The core hasn't been updated in almost 2 years. So it having bugs is very very probable.

Bezsenny80
yes ppsspp works fine stand alone but luckily i resolve my problem, i deleted config file for psp than open retroarch , i found was some shader active so switched it off save config for psp than open content now its fine

I followed the Unbroken Software, LLC tutorial and placed the recommended ppge_atlas.zim file in my retroarch > systems > PPSSPP folder along with some other stuff: Though it launches games into a black screen, and when I press F1 to go into RA's menu it just has a white screen. I am interested in this possible shader problem and am wondering where the above-mentioned config file might be located. The only config file I have which mentions the PPSSPP is the retroarch-core-options.cfg file in RA's main directory: I know the PPSSPP standalone is better and I've had 100& success with it but would like to get the PPSSPP core going if I can. Retro808
The config file would be located in \Retroarch\config folder

Are there any config files saved in that folder even for other cores? Also do you have save configuration on exit turned on in settings?
