Import playlist

Recommended Posts

Hi, I've downloaded a few playlists from this forum.  (xml files).  However after putting them in the data/playlist folder, LaunchBox does not recognize them.  In fact, the files are deleted when Launchbox is opened.  What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,

Rich

Hey guys, I also had this problem with my own lists.  I think that you may have to add the xml files before you run launchbox.  If launchbox is running, it won't recognize the xml files and deletes the unrecognized file when you exit.  Try it and let me know if I'm right.

Just to revive...yes it is still an issue at least for me as of the latest version.  If a playlist is added while LaunchBox is open, the playlist disappears into the abyss.  I cannot find it anywhere.  Even after right click, undo move, the playlist cannot be found.  I suggest copying and pasting into the data>playlist folder and then delete the original playlist once you are sure it loads in LaunchBox.

You should never be adding/removing or editing data files while Launchbox is open. Its OK to edit things in the UI, but editing, adding/removing actual files should not be done when the program is open.
