Retroarch only works on Sega systems??

Hi mates!

I have a big problem, I only get Retroarch to work on Sega systems, such as Master system, genesis, 32x.

When I try it on something else. it just turns black and nothing happens. And I have downloaded the right core and put the correct text in. "default command line parameters" such as -L "cores\stella_libretro.dll" and so on.

It does not even woth outside Lauchbox. I have solved it by using other emulators for other systems, but now I cant seem to find a good emulator for Atari Jaguar.

Did you download the cores for the systems you want to emulate ?

Jaguar emulation is kinda bad still. I mean it plays most games fairly good but there are some that are still broken.

Yes I did, but the Jaguar was a bad example, because that cosole sucks=)

But I also wanna play Turbografx cd, MSX, MSX2 and so on.

Certain systems will require bios, Turbografx CD and the MSX I know do.

Atleast this time it said: Failed to load content. When I was tyring to load a Turbografx cd iso!

You can check the bios to make sure they are good by loading the core and viewing the core information.

You will want cue + bin format since those are the most compatible. Retroarch can be picky about the quality of dumps and there are a lot of bad dumps out there.

Still nada, What Core do you guys use to load Turbografx cd?

I use the mednafen_supergrafx_libretro.dll core the pce fast one is just as good too, same bios.

Check your bios by loading the core and no game and checking the core information like in my screenshot. If it says your bios are fine then you still have a bad disk image.

Yes critical files are missing. But I have them in Sytems folder. Do I perhaps need to rename them`? They are called PC Engine CD-Rom System BIOS (1988)(NEC Home Electronics)(WD) - [Syscard3].pce and so on.

Rename it to syscard3.pce and see if it detects it, it could still be a bad or incompatible version for Retroarch. Naming and md5 checksums matter.
