Khaar
Hello and thank you so much for creating BigBox! I can't play retro games without it anymore Something strange happened to me yesterday on the LaunchBox Games DB site. Almost all of my uploads are gone from my Changes Status site. In the last weeks I created a lot of fanart backgrounds for games without a single background or games with backgrounds I didn't like, and a couple of North American box fanart for games only released in Japan. I had 26 pages on my Changes Status site, and now only one with the stuff I uploaded today and yesterday. I also notice that the Moderation Queue Length was reduced from over 1000 to almost zero (80 yesterday, 160 today). Is all the stuff gone? What happened to it? Chris Kant
normally this means, that all the stuff is already moderate. so the guys who working as moderators in the background do a good job :-) and all your uploads looks like they are now approved. Khaar
OK, thank you for the answer. I've started uploading stuff a month ago and from my 460 submitted changes almost everything was accepted (457) a few days later. Does that all mean that even if moderators accept my submissions that it will take some weeks before changes are made in the database? Once submissions to the database have been approved by the people who moderate that stuff (i'm not one of them) it will all be rolled into the database, which is updated every 24 hours. So the submissions and changes you have made should show in the database by tomorrow at the latest (i'm not sure exactly what time it refreshes, and it is on US time). All you will have to do your end is edit or add metadata to a game in Launchbox, and you will be prompted to download new metadata if it is available. JamesBond@ge
The Database site has become much faster in the last few days. I think somebody deletes the history of our submissions that have either been accepted or rejected in order to speed up the site. Is it Vlansix that does this? I think it is. I believe @Vlansix and / or @Jason Carr have been doing work on the site and the database lately so that could be it. I don't know if that is the actual case though. Vlansix
'ello! Aye. I've archived close to three million moderation records this weekend. The auto-archival feature is not yet fully implemented, so I need to sweep the floors every once in a while. SHould be corrected soon, though :).

I don't feel like I've aged a few years every time I moderate them things. Especially "add a new game" submissions. I'd hate it when they came up lol. Thanks.
