I would hazard a guess that mcafee quarantined it as its such a new file. What I would do is reinstall Launchbox 7.12 directly over the top of your current install, then add a exception in mcafee for launchbox and bigbox.

how do i reinstall manually is there a download on Launchbox website ?

go to your update folder in LB sort by date and run the newest one again.

If you go into your Launchbox/Updates folder you should see the installer for 7.12 just install into the excact same folder over the top of your current instal.

didn't realize the naming had changed in the updates and they are named accordingly now.

thouight i had pointed to old folder but its updated but its like a new install

just copy the LB and BB .exe to your old folder then

Then its the wrong folder, do you now have a launchbox folder in your launchbox folder?

Thank god. I would add a exclusion to Mcafee so it doesn't remove your files again.

I would make an exclusion on my PC to never allow McAfee anywhere near it.

Yeah, my entire emulation folder is in my AV's exception list, emulators and related software have a tendency to get false positive flags in a lot of AV software
