I've been playing around with a clean install and I've noticed that some themes like City Hunter 2 feel like they're running on a low-end GPU when they're actually on a high-end GPU. The built-in themes run much better but loading videos is still stuttery compared to old versions of BigBox. Make sure you're using the correct video card if you have a laptop with multiple GPUs (Intel vs. nVidia, for example). That would cause performance like you're describing. There was no performance degradation whatsoever when we switched to .NET Core, so something isn't working correctly.
Redmist Posted January 8, 2021 Posted January 8, 2021 (edited) It looks like I was running BB at 2160 without realizing. I normally run it at 1080. Some themes do appear to be quite slow still but others are fine so it's not a BB issue. Edited January 8, 2021 by Redmist
