Can you check if the same is happening on your end? This is affecting games that have always had fanart - backgrounds. Tried reinstalling the theme to no avail. Looks like the way it currently works is there's a theme specific image prioritization system that will display images in the following priority order: Display Storefront specific screenshots, including: Origin, Amazon, GOG, Epic, Steam Display the Fanart Background group (as determined by user settings) Display the Screenshot - Gameplay image type Quote
boylag Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 Is there any way I can fix this as I'm having the exact same issue? Quote

boylag Posted December 14, 2024 Posted December 14, 2024 I dont see anything called storefront screenshots. If you mean background priorities I have those only set to backgrounds. Quote
C-Beats Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 @boylag You're being told that if the image you're seeing is of one of the image types Faeran listed then the theme displays them with priority and so what you're seeing is the theme working the way it was designed. If you don't like how that is handled you'd want to copy/paste the theme to a new folder and then rename it. Then go to \\LaunchBox\LbThemes\{Name of your theme}\Views\GameDetailsView.xaml and search for "FlowImage" you should come up with 3 references 2 of which have an "ImageType" property with several values. Make sure the only value in parens is the "Backgrounds" value and you'll have what you're looking for. Quote
brunosardine Posted December 24, 2024 Posted December 24, 2024 Hi @faeran Not sure if this is a theme or launchbox question. I can toggle on/off the 3d box sliding in from the right side (see image). This particular 3d box is not the static image, but the feature where you can rotate and spin the box around. Is there a way to show either a gameplay screenshot or video instead of the 3d spinny box? I've been messing around with media priorities to no avail. Perhaps a change in GameDetailsView I could make? thanks! Quote

However, you could create a copy of the theme and change that part of the code to suit your particular needs. Quote

Surprisingly hard to do, but if you take this view file and replace the one under the LBThemes\Big Details\Views folder it should do what you want. GameDetailsView.xaml 1 Quote
Shredder_guitar Posted Sunday at 06:00 PM Posted Sunday at 06:00 PM (edited) This is probably my favorite theme so far. Just wanted to mention that N64 3d boxes are sideways in the upper right corner and also listview doesn't seem to work...well it works...but there's no horizontal scroll bar and the column spacing is odd ; once the columns are expended the text is readable, but i am only able to look at a few columns at a time. Hey there, the 3D Models are actually not dictated by the theme. Are your N64 2D box images sideways? That would essentially do it. Listview is done differently than other themes. It's essentially a static width, and you'll need to remove columns until the list is of a manageable size. It's just a choice I made a long time ago with this list view. You aren't able to see all columns at the same time. Quote

I don't think they're sideways....the 'full box art' is...but idk if that is what's being used. You can see in the upper right, how the image comes in when it eases. Is this are you saying this is not the case for everyone and is tied to the type of art that i have? I believe i got this art just from syncing from the website. on the list view. Ok I'll have to mess around with it and find something palatable in that case, i know there's alot of columns so not sure which ones i would actually use. Quote

For the 3D Model, yeah, looks like that's what's being used, which explains it. If you want it to stop using them you'll need to edit the platform, go to the 3D Model Settings, turn on Overrides and uncheck the option: Enable Full Scan Images. Quote
