Dreamcast won't start in Launchbox

Fresh install of LB, fresh install of Retroarch. Starting a Dreamcast game directly from Retroarch using the flycast core works (albeit checkerboarding). Starting the same game from Launchbox does nothing. Associated platforms shows Sega Dreamcast written exactly as in my platform category and directed to flycast libretro. Right clicking the game and selecting to launch with retroarch flycast also does nothing. Been on this hours and can't figure out. I even gave up and tried redream but it won't launch directly into games even if I only give it one .gdi file to work with. Would prefer retroarch though. I know I've had this working in the past but since switching to win11 it doesn't seem to want to (or I'm missing a setting I had before) Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The way mine are set up are gdi, raw, and bin files in a folder per game. I also tried to convert to .chd. If I use just Retroarch it will load both single .chd files and .gdi files. As an experiment I have only two games in Launchbox right now. One game points to a .chd file and the other points to a .gdi file, neither work when launched from LB. For reference these games are from the Sega Dreamcast Champion Collection.
