this 14.0 not good when exit a game bigbox and lunchbox freezes and u cant do owt back to 13.27 yet again this version full of bugs

The same thing happens to me when I exit an emulator or a Steam game. The only way to terminate Launchbox is through Task Manager.

just played mame game thro bigbox and exit it the game and bloody froze yet again

I wasn't having problems but suddenly it hard locked and now the app itself is bricked and the executable won't even launch through windows gui. I was able to force a launch through windows cli though.

Exactly the same issue. I can launch games (only MAME tested so far) but when i escape back to BigBox it's crashed. Secondary video is still playing but it's otherwise completely unresponsive. Maybe it's this new media thing and 'legacey' themes -  I'm using a custom theme built via the Community Theme Editor which itself hasnt been update for a long time now. I'm going to roll back to 13.27 I think which was the last version i was on before updating today.

13.27 is ur best bet till they sort it out but dont no when that will be.

Yeh that's the last version that worked ok for me. Fortunatey it is really easy to roll-back when this happens - and none of the new stuff since is a big deal to me anyway.

My 'clean' build on a different PC with an off-the-shelf theme seems fine.

just tryed the new beta 1 and it dont seem to freeze anymore but just played 4 games in mame and seems ok

How do I roll back? I searched for 13.27 and get articles about it but no download links.

Check your Updates folder in LaunchBox for older installs and if you don't have anything there you'll need to reach out to support via https://forums.launchbox-app.com/contact/ to get a download link for the older version.
