Just a little corner of my basement set aside for retro games.

This was built by me 20 years ago. The 27" CRT died and I replaced it with a 26.5" square LCD monitor. I also replaced the computer and upgraded all the software to the latest MAME at the time. The front end is Launchbox and BigBox. This made life so much easier to emulate 15 of my favorite platforms including Vectrex. I had to replace the light guns with Sinden ones which work great. I also added the dynamic Marquee and replaced all the buttons with LED ones which adds a nice touch. The controller is the SlikStik CO2 and a couple of XBOX one controllers.

Based on the Midway MK2 cabinet I used to own but wider to take a 32" screen and saves on the depth! Intel i5, 8gb Ram and a 1050ti card Plays mainly MAME, Singe2, Sega and Nintendo emulators with recent Tekno parrot shooters for when the new Sinden comes in the new year. CNC machined with vinyl artwork, Zero delay sticks and Xbox adaptor for guitar hero games (Windows, not emulated)

Took me longe enough

i collect mostly nintendo and i still have most of my consoles from my childhood.

My cp layout plus I'm just changing over to launchbox as a front end and I love it thanks Jason for the hard work.

This was a fun project. Don't laugh! i needed something the grandkids can destroy. This is sustainable gaming for the new age. Not everyone can afford to have 150 pounds of branded compressed paper shipped to their house!
