  1. Sorry to up this, but I am having a bit of trouble - I have tried this, but it seems like whenever I exit the game, the default profile doesn't load back up - I have to manually click 'force board reconfigure' in Winpac before the new profile will take hold. Does anybody have any idea? edit: I've actually realised the profile doesn't change when loading the game either - no idea what I might be doing wrong. I just have a more basic one that says @echo off call "C:\Program Files (x86)\WinIPAC V2\WinIPAC.exe" "C:\Desktop\bishi.ipc" exit 0 as I only need it for one game, so have created one to start and to exit. However, I tried it the way described above and same result - it just seems like Winpac won't load a new profile simply by just opening it
  2. For some reason I can't get this to work at all - tried the method NJDave71 suggested, nothing. Tried putting it in my startup folder, nothing (even though BB is enabled in the startup menu). Tried using BBShell...same result, the PC just boots into explorer like normal. Am on W10 and have BB.exe to run as admin, I genuinely can't figure it out
  3. Thanks, I did wonder if it was because those ports automatically sent power, I'll get some clips and see if they function correctly when attached the traditional way. Just weird it only started doing it after a week or so. Thanks for the help!
  4. @arzoo I am having a weird problem with my LEDBlinky setup and was hoping you might have encountered something like this before - I am using the Ultimarc Ultimate I/O, and most buttons are connected via the RGB pins and operate fine. However, I have 2 heliogem Credit buttons that I got from GGG which are connected via the screwdown ports. I originally had my colour scheme set up, and it was fine for the first couple of days, but now every time I turn on the unit, it will automatically power on these credit buttons to white, and then when I get into bigbox and my custom scheme loads, the buttons default to green, when they should be purple - if I go into the controls editor or the input map generator, the buttons function perfectly when scrolling through the R/G/B settings, and if I set them back to how they were, they'll survive a reboot, but not a complete power down. Any ideas? Also, while I am here, my custom loading animation has also started randomly adding in randomly coloured buttons during the animation - is this me not setting enough frames and it just lighting something randomly? Again, it never did this for the first couple of days. edit: as an update, I've realised that the buttons act independently of LEDBlinky now - if I try and change their colour or add them to an animation, nothing happens at all. The only way I can get them to change colour through LED Blinky is if I open them up in the input map generator, which seems to shake them free of whatever is making them turn. It's like something else is overriding LED Blinky, but I don't know what that would be. I did have PacLED64 on the machine at one point (although I never used it) so I deleted that, but it made no diffence. I do wonder if PACLed64 is interfering, because if I turn off all the lights in PACLed, my LEDBlinky setup goes back to working perfectly - all lights assign correctly, and there is also no random colours lighting up. If I reboot this remains the same, but if I completely shut down the machine, it just returns on next boot. I've tried uninstalling PACLed, but it made no difference Cheers!
  5. ignore me, I somehow missed the FE button on the controls tool despite looking at all the options about 15 thousand times, so I was setting the non-emulator defaults, but not the actual BigBox ones - cheers for the help
  6. I have just checked, and I definitely have the LEDBlinky controls to default to 8-Way as far as I can tell, I genuinely can't figure out why it keeps switching back to 4 every time I exit a game
  7. Hmm, I will have to double check once I am home from work - I am almost definite I do have it set up as an 8 way control as a default, but it's possible I've accidentally changed something - I also have the Ultimate I/O, so on the exact same setup
  8. I was wondering if anybody had found a way to make the Servostick stay as an 8-way even if it's returning to launchbox? my problem at the moment is that it defaults back to 4 way every time I exit a game, as I imagine it just essentially sees BigBox as a 4 way game because of the menu controls? Just for the sake of not needlessly wearing out the servos, Id much prefer to be able to make the gates stay 8 way unless it's specifically a 4 way game I am playing
  9. Yeah it was the clear logos - I thought I'd unticked it, but it turns out I hadn't. One of those dumb things where it was literally the very first thing I checked, and then because I somehow missed it, I spent forever checking just about everything else haha. Cheers for the answer all the same
  10. Hi All - longtime lurker, first time I've not been able to find an exact answer just by browsing old posts. I've started applying some Startup Themes for bigbox, and I've discovered that regardless of whichever theme I use, 99% of the time the background image that gets displayed is always blown up so big that it looks a) low quality, and b) it's only showing the like the top left quarter of whatever the image is. I've tried messing with image priorities and different themes, but it's almost always the same. Any ideas?
  11. Great work. Am I going mad (or is it just me), but is the music for Tapper on the Arcade theme glitched out? I absolutely love the theme (it's incidentally my fave game), but the music is a shame...weird thing is I swear it never used to be like that, but I downloaded it again and same thing edit: weirdly sometimes it plays normally in BigBox and other times it plays garbled. No idea why, but at least I am not going mad!
