  1. Sure I can add the Switch. Give me a few days to get to it. Any other systems you need while I'm in there?
  2. Hi all, I just recently got one of the new Chromecasts with Remote that runs on Google TV (formerly Android TV). I'm using the Moonlight app to stream games to my new Chromecast. It works fine for supported games, but when I use it to launch BigBox, input does not want to work. It works for like a half second after the startup video finishes and then does nothing. Video, Audio come through just fine. I am able to use Moonlight on both my Android phone and my PlayStation Vita to stream BigBox just fine, so I don't know what the issue is. Is anyone else having this issue or have a solution? Update: It's working fine now. No idea what changed! Neeeevermiiiind...
  3. @Jason Carr Has the URL to submit themes or theme updates for inclusion into BigBox changed? When I try to go to https://www.launchbox-app.com/themes, it redirects me to a Forum login each time, even when I'm already logged into the Forum.
  4. Unfortunately the way I set it up, it is platform specific. I treated each platform as special and unique so I could modify the width of the gameslist and size/placement of the box art and have more freedom overall with the look. Making a universal change means making that change one at a time for every supported platform as a result (the tradeoff!) You'll probably be ready to go before I get to this. Attached to this post are the COMMUNITY creator project files for what I started (only modified the default gameslist view). If you need any PSD source files for the TVs or Consoles let me know, I can send you a dropbox link. WoodPanels Meta (in progress) COMMUNITY project files.zip Update 2/25/2021: After looking into this some more, I have decided I will not be pursuing adding the metadata to the theme proper. I'd have to add it one at a time to each platform, which is a lot of work, and it's not something I personally prefer with this theme. You can still use the project files attached to extend the theme yourselves using the COMMUNITY theme editor, though! Let me know if you have questions about the theme and I'll do my best to answer them.
  5. It's a lot of work to add that, believe it or not. Can you give me a prioritized list of platforms/consoles? I can get a version out faster if I don't have to do every single platform.
  6. @retrogamer459 Alright here's what I got mocked up. I had to kill the gigantic baseboard to make room. Is this what you're looking for? Also, as far as the disc number, if you set up your games correctly then you should only have one listing per game, not one per disc. It's different depending on the system and emulator you're using but as far as LaunchBox goes it's pretty easy. See this thread for some info
  7. @Maul83 I updated it to support PlayStation 3. Please take a look and let me know if anything is off. @retrogamer459 Still working on trying out your request; it will take some more time. I have updated the theme here for now; will submit it for inclusion in BigBox proper later on.
  8. In theory? It's probably just easier if I add it to the theme proper. If you have a good image of the console / controller to use please send it on over and I'll add it to the theme.
  9. I chose to hide that information for a clean look, but I'm not opposed to making an alternate version for you. Where would you recommend I put that metadata?
  10. You can't do most of what you're looking to do with the Wall View. Those options just aren't exposed to theme creators. If you look at the Documentation PDF included in the Themes folder of LaunchBox, you'll see the options that *are* available. Things like height and width of the component, scale of the game boxes, scale of the selected game box, spacing of the game boxes, etc. You *will* be able to specify a border color for the selected game as you wanted to. Let me know if you have trouble finding the xaml for it and I can look it up later. The Wall View is not as customizable as you're looking for it to be unfortunately. I just don't think it gets used very much.
  11. Let me know if you need any. I've got a bunch.
  12. By popular demand, this is now done! Please see the latest version of WoodPanels on the site. Tons of other changes too.
  13. It is done! Please see the latest version here. (it takes time to get approval through BigBox proper)
  14. Hey, I'm at a loss for how to style the title in the gameslist for the Text Games View.  The included sample preset styles do not have any styles for the optional title.  Can you help point me to an example somewhere?

  15. Hi everyone please fill out this brief survey which will help inform me of whether or not to include support for cart images (certain platforms only) in the next major version: https://form.responster.com/4urxVf Edit: Closed! The people have spoken, and this has been done. Please see the latest version.

  17. @y2guru Yeah I was hoping to avoid telling theme users to have to do that. This is why I am asking to have the option within the theme creation to override the LaunchBox user settings for fallback images.
  18. So for a brief portion of a second you can see the fallback image there, before the LaunchBox settings take over and load the fallback there (box art in my case)
  19. So I've rebuilt most of the theme in the community theme creator (which is, incidentally, pretty sweet). That said...it's not working for this situation. I imported a game to my library that has no cart image. I specified the below in my theme, where you can see the placeholder image for this specific game in the editor... And yet when I look at this game in BigBox, it's still being overridden by the fallback settings in LaunchBox: This doesn't seem to work when you put these images in a theme folder.
  20. Me: takes deep breath OK I will try it when I have some time!
  21. I figured you'd say that ? - I finished my first cut of the theme juuust before you released the tool. I am afraid that I'd have to start over from scratch though if I switch now... ? so it's a last resort for me with this theme. I'll definitely start with it if I make another theme though.
  22. I can dig it! I put in a request to specify a default fallback image, so we'll see! EDIT: Getting lots of responses from my request; turns out it may be possible so stay tuned as I try some suggestions out.
  23. Hey all, not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but I have a request to add a feature for theme creators. @Jason Carr I need the ability to specify a fallback/default game art image if none exists, overriding the settings in LaunchBox for fallback images. Here's why in my specific scenario. I would love to be able to show the actual game cart image showing up in certain consoles for my theme, which works well right now assuming you have cart images. I ran a test using N64 for example: That said, I need to be able to specify a fallback generic cartridge to show, otherwise it'll fallback to whatever the user's specified in LaunchBox, which looks...bad. In my case for instance if I'm missing a game cart image it falls back to a box image: Please consider adding this ability in a future version of LaunchBox. Thank you and please let me know if I should move this request somewhere else.
