Cleaning Up Media always completely freezes LB at some point. Tried it twice, froze twice.

What's now with media, did it also import media for the complete set, or only my existing stuff? As I don't necessarily want to go through the whole download everything process again. EDIT: I think I can see that it downloaded everything.

Import ROMs like for other "normal" sets?

So I have a MAME favorites set, which contains 1313 games in total, but when I imported them into LB, it shows me 2817 games. How comes? Btw, I'm using the non-merged set of MAME (v0.210)

Ok, did not try the media cleanup tool yet. I guess i’m gonna try to delete one single game, then use the media cleanup tool and see if it works. Thx!

Sometimes I set my settings that if I delete a game within LB that it also deletes it straight away from my disk. Annoying part is that I still have then to delete images, videos and music manually, as I won’t need them anymore, saving some space. Can become cumbersome when deleting several games. is there a way that the media also gets deleted when deleting games, or do I have to do it manually? Still playing around a bit with LB to learn before I add more stuff, because my next collections I add, will only contain games that I will filter out of complete sets, otherwise I can become quite messy, when you have over 1000 entries for one single system, plus obviously it takes up more space.

I also noticed when downloading videos, that there are a lot of them missing. Although I was only searching for high quality HD videos. Should I just search for all and prioritize HD HQ?

Is there no music available for f.ex. GameCube or Wii? It doesn't scrape any at least, for other systems I have music.

Ok, that worked. Thanks for help. When launching the game now, does LB know to boot on Disc 1? Does it also swap automatically when Disc 2 is needed?

I added them via "Scan for Added ROMs", there you don't have the option. Can I try adding the whole collection again, without having anything double? Does LB see what games are already existing?

How is it possible to only get 1 single entry for a 2 or multi disc game? I have several games f.ex. for GameCube that have 2 discs, and LaunchBox shows me the entries always twice.

Ok, I thought it wasn’t possible to install LB straight away to external. I did it the alternative way like you suggested. Firstly I changed them one by one in the edit platform panel, found it too slow, then I edited the xml file and used the search/replace method.

Is it somehow possible, when I import a new category, that the images/videos/music is straight away stored on my external drive? At the moment I import everything to the default LaunchBox folder on C:\ and then I manually transfer everything (images/videos/music) to my external E:\ and then I start editing the platform.xml file to change <FolderPath> to <FolderPath>E:\ so that it points to my directories on the external drive. Is there no easier way? Thanks.
