  1. If you plan to put it inside a cabinet the look and size don't really matter, I have mine standing underneath my TV between PS4 and XBox One, so size matters a lot to me. Plus the Hades Canyon also looks very neat. The Mini-ITX ETA uses doesn't seem bigger than the Hades though, you have to look up the sizes perhaps, but you will probably have problems putting decent hardware inside, especially PSU, thus you're gonna be quite restricted.
  2. Ok, I found out that the easiest way is just to drag and drop the game's exe file into LB and it adds the game.
  3. Ok, didn’t know that it was related to the API. That’s too bad though. Can I add them manually?
  4. I’m using a NUC, the Hades Canyon for LB, it works great. There’s a post in the forum with my specs if you search for it.
  5. When trying to import my Steam games (only 24 in total), LB parses only about half of them. Why is that? Is not every game yet recognized. They're all installed in the SteamLibrary folder.

  7. Batch file renamer called Advanced Renamer has TONS of options and is for free. https://www.advancedrenamer.com/
  8. Thanks, worked. I thought that menu was actually for something else, f.ex. when importing stuff.
  9. In my grid view I always had clear logos in my background shown, now after an update to 10.15 it shows me huge cover/boxart pictures of the games, don't find where I could change that back again. It's not under Options.
  10. Direct3D 9? That’s quite old.
  11. To my LB. Didn’t know about drag&drop option, gonna try that. Btw, so far, going through my C64 games, I managed to get letter D now finished, so still a lot of work still ahead. What I wanted to say is that so far I already created over hundred clear logos, because loads of games are missing them, but it’s quite tedious to upload them to the LB database. Is someone willing to do that, should I upload them somewhere, or is there a faster possibility to add them in the LB database?
  12. I came across some C64 games that are not existing in the database, how can I add them manually? Using Add ROMs obviously doesn't add them, as they're not found.
  13. LB is portable, so just try to move all your stuff 1:1 to another disk, just pay attention it has the same drive letter, then afaik no changes are due at all.
  14. Games will be installed in dev_hdd0\game\game_id Rap files are in dev_hdd0\home\0000000x\exdata
  15. Although that’s not working with a favorite set.
  16. Basically that’s exactly how I did it the first time, found it to be cumbersome after editing 2 entries, thought there might be another, faster, way to do it, and whilst searching a bit, I stumbled across the xml files. Jackpot ? Best way when renaming f.ex. hundreds of ROM extensions, like bin to iso, or smc to sfc.
  17. That’s true neil. Could be a more “dangerous” task. Makes sense to just not give that hint.
  18. Wouldn’t it be easier just editing the xml files?
  19. I’m using a 210 set, went through every single game and created myself a favorite set with around 1.300 games. That’s all I need, and probably won’t update anymore or go through all the hassle again of creating a favorite set for use in LB. That said, in your case I would consider upgrading, as mentioned the set is a few years old and you should consider upgrading, if only for the improvements. Guess you didn’t make a favorite set? If not, upgrading is easy, just download the latest full set.
  20. Don't know, I don't keep them anyway anymore. Cliffhanger f.ex. has a lot of hickups.
  21. Out of 10 games I tested, supposed to be working ones, ran quite poorly, whereas "normal" MAME ROMs runs just fine.
  22. Try editing the InputBindings.xml under Launchbox\Data
  23. I tested now some of those on my quite well performing Hades Canyon, and have to say that none of them run well, plus the games are abominations, just stick with the so many great non CHD MAME games.
  24. Thanks, gonna check.
  25. Would we not all want to have that?
