  1. As far as I know LB omits everything in brackets, thus your game will be called Sonic the Hedgehog. Try perhaps a different form of name, without brackets to see if it then works. I didn’t try as I skipped all my hacks in LB.
  2. Ok, sorry but I’m not home at the moment so I cannot see for myself. In your case, you see when you edit the game, that under GENRE it says platform, that’s the category it takes when you auto generate. I don’t know if you can sort your games per region? But if you would add a region to GENRE, then it could work.
  3. Would probably be a question in a hardware based arcade cabinet forum, I personally f.ex. don’t owe one.
  4. If you right click a game you will see which category it is in, if there it says Europe, Brazil or whatever, it will put it in that category if it is existing. If not it could mean that you will have to edit every single game. Or chose all the games for one category, EU f.ex and batch/multiple edit them. You could always auto generate playlists, but that doesn’t give you country based categories.
  5. It is indeed, plus it perfectly fits into the living room, as it’s not even half the size of f.ex. a PS4.
  6. I bought a mini PC, the Hades Canyon, mainly to use with LB. The Intel NUC Hades Canyon i7-8809G is an Intel NUC Kit with 8th Generation Intel Core Processors and has a Radeon RX Vega M GH graphics (4GB, 8M Cache, up to 4.20 GHz) which supports up to 6 displays. Graphics outputs are 2x Mini-DP 1.2, 2x Thunderbolt 3, F+R HDMI 2.0a. Other connections like USB are Front: USB3, 2x USB 3.1g2 (Type A and C); Rear: 4x USB3, 2x Thunderbolt3 (USB3.1g2); INT: 2x USB2, 2x USB3, so plenty of them. Unfortunately it doesn't come with memory or storage, so I bought that separately, as memory I bought the Crucial Ballistix Sport LT 2x16GB 2.666Mhz DDR4. Storage wise I bought a Samsung 970 EVO Plus 250GB M.2 NVMe SSD for OS, and a Crucial MX500 1TB (3D NAND, Sata M.2) for games and such. Furthermore I'm using an external 5TB for my ROMs collection for LaunchBox, which should be enough.
  7. I'm using an 8BitDo controller, set it up in Cemu with BetterJoyForCemu enabled. I can only use the controller if BetterJoyForCemu is also running in the background. How could I do that automatically? I mean if I run Cemu games through LB, it doesn't necessarily launch Cemu and BetterJoyForCemu together.
  8. Me too to be honest, if you look at the CXBX Reloaded compability list, it don't seem that many. Not worth I would say. https://github.com/Cxbx-Reloaded/game-compatibility/issues
  9. Is there a different auto generate option for MAME? I was using the right click platform category method like with every other one.
  10. My MAME is located under Arcade\MAME and it auto generated 111 playlists with ONLY genres checked! I have already several for Maze (13), Shooter (24), Sports (26)... Also my lists don't have ARCADE as first word in a playlist.
  11. There are way too many different categories when auto generating child's playlists, any way to choose from categories? I mean, I really don't need over 20 different ones for each platform. 111 alone in MAME!!
  12. EDIT: Hm? Seemed to work now with some GC games with more than one clear logo, scrolled to the picture and when pressing OK, it took the picture automatically.
  13. I use clear logos f.ex. in MAME, sometimes there are 2 different, and I want to use a specific one, not necessarily the one given. So I edit the entry, go to the pictures, scroll to the one I want, but I cannot set it as default. I have to browse my image folder to find it, change the name to the one it is at the moment, rename or delete that one, and eventually I get the image I want. Is there some way? Like right clicking the image and be able to choose "use as default picture"?
  14. I run everything from external disk, than you have already a backup and it’s the easiest way to carry over to another system. Just make a 1:1 copy of your installation, most important being the xml files where LB stores your paths etc. And indeed that Intel GPU will be your bottleneck for sure, but still should run lower systems you mentioned well enough.
  15. Which format are the roms? Launch Demul, load rom, play game. Do you have the BIOS files? Give more details what exactly isn’t working.
  16. I think it might work the way you want to do it, just copy the media in the right folders, named correctly obviously, and LB knows how to handle it. Taking a closer look at any platform.xml file shows that LB stores it's "text" based data here, but not any information about media, as <ManualPath /> <MusicPath /> <VideoPath /> f.ex. are empty, meaning the path link isn't stored here. I would suggest letting LB scrap 1 game, creating the correct folders on your disk, then manually copy your media over and after that scanning your files. Worth a try.
  17. Don’t know, but I would search for an .ini or .xml file where your settings are probably stored. You should be able to change it there again.
  18. Ha, I just figured it out, adding 4do_libretro.dll and it works. Thanks anyways.
  19. I'm having problems launching the 4DO emulator from LB. The emulator is configured and I can run games through it. But if I launch a game from LB, it just starts the emulator, but boots no game. BIOS is loaded. Default command-line parameters are: --StartFullScreen -StartLoadFile I tried to use the RetroArch core, and I can download it, although when browsing to "associated platforms", it's not available.
  20. My plugin.ini file is located in the MAME root.

I think you're in the wrong forums mate!
  22. I have both SN Pro and SF 30 Pro, great controllers, though one stayed in pairing mode, whatever I tried, so I sent it back. Got a SN 30 Pro+, it's awesome.
  23. For multi disc games, name your games like Game (Disc 1), Game (Disc 2) etc. It will consolidate them into one single file in LB.
