  1. Category Collections_HD.mp4 Category Computers Retro_HD.mp4 Category Collections Category Computers Retro Just because Launchbox adds all Steam, Epic etc games into the same folder so I split Amiga C16 etc into Computers Retro to keep it all separate.
  2. I'm not sure if all these are in the Theme, like the BBC Micro I've not seen so it could already have a colour. I've just got to do the Vid for Collections & Retro Computers & that'll prob be it until I'm on the next part lol. When they're all locked down & the colours are all ok I'll post up the 4k versions & send you the Zip files if you want. Thanks for the help @viking
  3. Let me know & I'll change the background colours to what you want including the Mega CD above this. @viking

  6. Ok I tried the on screen controls which worked with 2 button presses. I then went through all config start ups for the 8bitdo zero 2 Switch/D/X/Keyboard but no luck. I looked through some posts and found this which worked!!! I found it, “Input Block Timeout” under Latency in the settings menu. I set this to the max setting and it fixed the issue. So in RA do the above and set it to 4 and it fixed the problem. Hope this helps others if needed. thanks
  7. You think? Even when the game actually plays correctly with the right buttons? I thought it might have been a setting that is delaying a 2 button press or something. I’ll try my other pad and see if that works then remap the Zero I guess. Pretty frustrating. I also thought you used to be able to change character on TMNT2p Arcade when you died but it’s been so long. thanks for the help mate.
  8. Hi guys I'm just setting up my controls using an 8BitDo Zero 2 the small pad for my daughter. This all seems to be working fine but when I tested TMNT the Arcade version using Retroarch MAME 2003 Plus the Special attacks arn't working. Jump works, attack works but push both buttons & I get a normal attack not the mini jump with a big hit. Do I need to change something in Retroarch to get this to work? I tried this on both 2 player versions & 4 player but got the same result. Thanks
  9. Ok keep updating. if you deleted all the arcade roms then re imported, I used not a full set option, and it still doesn’t work? Then yes definitely check which rom you have compared to what LB is trying to load in the metadata. Maybe find a new romset? I know capcom stuff has been updated in MAME 2003 plus, as I needed to update my whole set using a newer set and those work now. Also make sure your setting the emulator setting to MAME 2003 plus or what ever you’re using.
  10. Seems like the new update fixes all this for me so far.
  11. Find one that isn't working in Launchbox MAME but is working in RetroArch - find it in Launchbox - Select the game & look at the list, where it says edit meta data click that. In the meta data it will show you the .zip it's trying to run. So for me that says powb.zip (which I don't have & shouldn't be there). Then check if you have this (rom in the meta data) rom in your Mame roms folder you imported. If you don't have that rom then that's why you get the black screen. To fix it point the meta data rom .zip to one you do have & it should work. Just writing this and Android Launchbox has just been updated so hopefully this fixes all this!!!
  12. I have got it working, the Scan & add Arcade rom bit a few times but I needed to re scan it and lost it. I've tried many ways to add games in but nothing has stuck. I only need to add MAME & that's it everything else is working fine that I know of. Now the loading of MAME rom's is screwed up. I'm not sure if they know or it's being worked on but Launchbox is assigning roms I don't have to load. So when you want to load POW I have roms pow.zip & powj.zip but Launchbox is setting powb.zip as the rom to load which obviously results in a black screen. I've checked other roms/games like Out Zone and it's the same, it's setting the wrong default rom. In retroarch you just select the correct rom you have and it'll work fine as you have that rom! I've got the same rom set working fine on other devices not using Launchbox. So I'm hoping I haven't wasted my money & just waiting for an update soon. I posted here
  13. I think you have the same problem as me. I don't think this is something we have done wrong. Pick a rom that doesn't work then look at the metadata & see what rom name Launchbox is looking for. I found it was looking for a rom name I didn't even have which is why the ones you pick work in Retroarch because the Launchbox is looking for a rom name you don't have in your folder & you're selecting one you do. e.g. I have pow.zip and powj.zip nothing else but Launchbox is looking for powb.zip for some reason in the metadata.
  14. Samsung Galaxy S8 Retroarch 64bit sideloaded using MAME 2003 Plus Core (internal storage) Full unmerged MAME 2003 Plus Referenced Set (on SD card) Launchbox Full license all other systems working fine in Retroarch Problem 1 I have to import these games multiple times to get Launchbox to create an xml that gets saved. I've managed once using the normal import games- Point to SD card and Rom Set - platform Arcade This all scans in at various speeds then restarts Launchbox for me to have no Arcade system there. As I said I have managed to get this to work once but I changed nothing, Problem 2 I have 3 Full unmerged Sets my own set I made, a MAME Plus 2003 full referenced Set 2018, a MAME Plus 2003 full referenced Set 2021 Each time I've scanned these sets in a lot of the games don't work, some do work but if I then open them directly in Retroarch, MAME 2003Plus core, they all work fine. Then I started to see Launchbox is assigning the wrong Rom name e.g I have roms pow.zip & powj.zip Launchbox is looking for powb.zip in the metadata which isn't even in any of the full sets?? I've seen this on the roms I've tried too like OutZone. If I open my rom set directly from Retroarch 64bit sideloaded all seem to work fine. So I think Launchbox is scanning & assigning the wrong rom names that don't exist when importing the roms for MAME. It doesn't matter if I import using North America or Europe. It could be problem 1 causing this but as I said I don't have the roms Launchbox is trying to find so they shouldn't even be on the alternate version list any for each game. Is this a known bug? I've seen others saying the same problem but haven't checked what rom Launchbox is pointing too. When is an new android Launchbox coming & are these being addressed? Should I list this bug somewhere? Thanks
  15. I’ve got the same problem. I also noticed Launchbox being more unstable the more platforms I’ve added. Did you have any luck?
  16. Ok i down graded the firm ware but then the pad wouldn't send a Bluetooth signal out for the pc or any device to pick up so then I had to re install the newest firmware for it to work again. So no luck sadly. I think it's either not LB not picking up the button well or there's a conflict with it in LB as I think it's like the XBox home button. I changed the Pause key to be R3 & tested it in Retroarch & it worked ok. If I push the *bitdo home button the Retroarch quick menu comes up. So I think in Retroarch this button needs to be reassigned or you have to say to not use it in Retroarch. I guess I'll have to play around or just stick with R3.
  17. Hmm I'll give it a go thanks mate.
  18. Hi guys I have an 8bitdo pro 2 but for some reason in Launchbox it doesn't read the home button very well. The button reads when tested in the 8bitdo pro Ultimate software quickly with no problems. When I try to set it as my LB Pause button under control mappings when I push the home button it doesn't read it quickly I have to push it, hold it, push it again then sometimes it works & says it's button 11 nothing else just button 11. When it does take & I try to use it when playing a game if I press the home button it doesn't work then I hit it again and again then multiple times then it might come up. So it does work but it seems to not read it as quickly as something like an X button etc. It does this on all Emulators I've set up so far eg Retroarch, Pcsx2, Duckstation etc. The pause menu works fine when up & exits out ok. Am I missing something? Thanks
  19. Great hopefully it'll be that simple. My last problem is I want to run this through my NVidia Shield using Steam link or Moonlight etc, I'm not sure if it'll all work if the pads are connected to the Shield or do have to leave them connected to the PC? Thanks for the help.
  20. @Retro808 Sorry yes this is what I meant you could also right click and Add to Playlist, then select Favorites playlist. Only this option doesn't seem to exist anymore?? It only states 'Fav' & not Favourites with the star Icon. So I'm not sure why they've removed it as it was helpful. Thanks for the work around.
  21. Right just found out with the new layout you have to click the Heart icon next to a game you want in this Favourites with the star. The problem is you can't select multiple games then click that heat as is just adds the game that it's currently on. How do we select multiple games then add to this Favourites folder using the heart/Flag on the Right hand side as there is no right click option anymore as I'm sure there was previously? Thanks for pointing this out @C-Beats
  22. I'm in Platform Category, I've auto generated a Favourites child list with a Star Icon next to it. I right click a game & I'm given the option Add to 'Favs' NOT 'Favourites' with a star icon next to it (Like I'm sure it used to?). If this game is added it goes to 'Favs' not to Favourites (with a star next to it) in the Platform Category nested list like i'm sure it used to. The 'Favs' list can only be seen if Playlist View is selected & is global. Has this changed or is it just me? Why is the Favourites with a star not given as an option anymore, is this a new bug? Thanks for the help.
  23. I've ordered a new 8bitdo so hopefully I can use this as a base along with the other one & get this all working. Great that Launchbox can use multiple pads for the menu. With Retroarch I need to configure the pads for the menu then every emulator within Retroarch e.g SNes, N64 etc? So my list of order to do things is this I think. 1.Add both pads to Launchbox & Big Box 2.Go through all emulators & configure both pads eg MAME CEMU etc 3.Add/config pads to Retroarch menu 4.Add/config pads in each emulator I'm using within retroarch by playing a game in that emulator then switching to quick menu & adding the pad/config? I think that's it right? Thanks for the help mate really appreciate your time.
  24. Thanks for the reply!! I did read about controllers in order being turned on selects what player they are ok. Ok I was thinking of just getting all 8bitdo controllers to make it more simple so that's good to know. Where in Launchbox does it allow you to use all controllers to navigate or is that default? So can I add all 3 controllers to Launchbox it'll let me use all 3 to navigate Launchbox and big box? If the PS4 pad is logged in first & select a game in Retroarch but I want the 8bitdo to be player 1 i need to turn off the PS4 pad then turn on the 8bitdo one? This is where I get confused since Retroarch & Cores inside it & other emus all have places to put controllers 1 2 3 4 but do they stay in that order or does the order re-arrange depending what controller is turned on or logged in first? Thanks for the Help
  25. Hey guys I've been doing the same thing for years & that's getting all my games & systems loading then closing then giving up due to life when it comes to sorting the controls out etc. Now I've done this with Hyperspin many times & other front ends but I've now finally got Launchbox which has made things so much easier! But now I'm on the dreaded controller setup again so I'm looking for some answers so I don't end up doing it multiple times & giving up again! If you can please help that would be great thanks. I have 3 controllers PS4, 8bitDo & another I'll prob buy. Can all these pads be used to control Launchbox/BB front end and play launched games as players 1 2 3? The problem is if I load up Launchbox then play something with the PS4 pad it's all good. Now my daughter wants to play her game with the 8bitdo, will her pad now work with Launchbox or do I need to close it all? What says what pad is used for what? Will the 8bitdo always be player 2 or can I restart LB & the 8bitdo will take over as player 1 & menu etc? It's confusing to explain but hopefully someone gets what I mean. Basically I want 3 players with 3 different pads to be able to be player 1 & control Launchbox. Is this doable or should I just have the PS4 pad to control Launchbox menu & the 8bitdo is always player 2? Thanks guys
