I am fairly certain that was enabled. However, I will ensure it is enabled, restart and give that another try. I appreciate all of your help with this!

So, that is the process that I have tried doing and none of the joysticks are registering any movements within BigBox or Launchbox when I try to map.

Ok, I had tested that previously during troubleshooting. It is definitely not set in keyboard mode. I tested that in notepad and also a keyboard tester and no keyboard responses.

I'm not sure if they are Xinput or Keyboard. How would I find that out? I used the UltraStik software configurations that is recommended for my joysticks. https://www.ultimarc.com/arcade-controls/joysticks/ultrastik-360-oval-top-en-2/?variation_id=313

TL:DR: Looking for button mapping for 4 player arcade (8 button player 1-2, 4 button player 3-4) for Launchbox/BigBox and emulators. Thanks! I'm a total noob (but pretty decent with technology) and having a hard time. I built a 4 player cab (player 1 & 2 with 8 buttons and player 3 & 4 with 4 buttons, Player 1-4 button and 3 admin buttons). Does anyone have a guide or help me on setting up the button mapping for RetroArch, Mame, PCSX2, PPSSPP, Dolphin, RPCS3, XEMU, and BigBox/Launchbox??? RetroArch seems to cause me the biggest headache. It seems that every game and every platform has different button mapping. Is there a setting I am missing or an easier way than mapping every platform (and game thats different)? Is there a way to get my joysticks to be recognized in BigBox/LaunchBox? I've tried mapping controller mapping and keyboard mapping and it registers NO movement of the joystick, even though it works EVERYWHERE ELSE. Any help would be GREATLY APPRECIATED. If you have read this far, I appreciate it!!!

I'm not sure how to check the encoding, but I tried keyboard mapping also and that didnt do anything. It acts as if they joysticks are not plugged in for BigBox/Launchbox. However, in joystick settings and UltraMap they are detected and it shows response to my movement.

I am having an issue with the joysticks in BigBox. I have 4 UltraStik 360 from Ultimarc. They are registering just fine in Windows 11 OS and the Ultimarc software. I have also tried them on 4 way and 8 way. When I use the joysticks nothing happens. Even if I try to go to controller mapping and map the up function and move the joystick, it does not register. Any suggestions?

It was set to "true". Changed to "false" saved and LaunchBox started fine. Thank you for your help!

Maybe it's just me, but when I click on "View File" it takes me to a page that says it cannot locate the files I am trying to open.
