Very cool guys; I'm tempted to pick up a GPD Win to see how well it runs and use it as a "test platform" (ha, test platform) for making Big Box run a bit better with super low end specs. How is Big Box running for you @Aurel? How well does it do the transitions and stuff?

Yeah, thanks guys, sorry for the confusion there. The live streams will continue to happen at the same times, now on both Twitch and YouTube. Also, YouTube lets me randomly go live and get an audience pretty much whenever, which is a win. I just live streamed a demo of the new nested filters features an hour ago to Twitch and YouTube.

Actually, that was not fixed @Levo_Stone; it's still on my list. What I did do is add transitions between platform categories and platforms. I didn't do anything to improve the performance...yet.

Yeah pretty much lol, it has all the features of the auto-populate playlists. Yup, people can communicate from both Twitch and YouTube and I get it all in real time.

Hey, beta 2 is finally out with the nested filters features in Big Box. There are some things still in the works (specifically mouse control with the filters needs a bit of work yet), but it should generally be functional. I'm going to be doing a surprise live stream in the next hour or so demonstrating the features (and the video will go up on YouTube after the fact); I'll link it here once it's all done. I'll be back going through this thread to fix all the things later today or tomorrow.

Hi @Jcabral4, I responded to you via email earlier this morning. Let me know if a the license solves the issue for you. Otherwise, we'll need more details on exactly what is happening, because if the license file is the same between computers, then most likely the issue is some sort of unrelated error and not the license.

Thanks guys, I just completed the main functionality of the nested filters, but I still need to clean it up a bit before I put out a beta, so you can expect the next beta out tomorrow. @neil9000, yes, that is probably what's going on. The playlists aren't checking for additional apps, so I can see how that could ultimately cause "missing" games. I'll have to come up with a solution for this before the next release. As for platform categories, I still have it on my list to create a UI to be able to edit the platform categories. That is coming, but isn't available quite yet. @Beatlemaniac19 Unfortunately that would be a bit of a pain to implement because I'd have to override filters in a bunch of places in the code. It also doesn't seem like it would be a common request, so it would be hard to prioritize. Feel free to put in a ticket though, and if it gets enough votes, you know I'll be on top of it eventually. @sagaopc That is already possible, though you would need a third party application (or a bunch of manual registry tweaks) to set it up. We won't be adding that feature directly in though due to the risks and confusion it could cause.

It doesn't have to do with previously having images; it has to do with having previously manually selected an image type for that platform. It should work the same for playlists as well, though platform categories don't yet work that way.

Thanks guys, looking into the issues. Per the playlists, fixes are coming for the extra games. Per missing games, keep in mind that the playlists often contain duplicates of all the different versions available for a particular game, so just because it's showing up as missing does not mean there isn't another version of it in your collection that *is* there. Just viewing a massive list of "missing" games isn't a signifier that there's anything wrong; it just means that the MAME importer is doing its job excluding clones. If anyone can confirm *specific* games that should be found, but aren't, let me know. I'm currently busy working on nested filters, and some other things. I have transitions implemented for the platform categories, as well as shortcut buttons and keys. I can't put out a beta quite yet though because I'm in the middle of development on nested filters.

Those images are built in to LaunchBox and will regenerate if removed and not replaced. An empty image is currently the best solution. Thanks @DOS76.

Actually, this may be more due to the functionality being a bit confusing than a bug. Platforms should remember the previously selected image type, but the tricky thing is that if no image type was previously selected for a platform, it will just use whatever the previous image type was, which gets confusing. Hopefully I can fix this for the next release.

@Wayne100 We may have a bug there with the latest release. I'm seeing something weird happening as well; I'll get a fix in a beta soon.

@lordmonkus is correct on both points, though I agree that both should be options. We'll get them in there eventually; can you create a ticket for the disabling of the alpha navigation (Issues/Requests in the header)? Pretty sure there's already a ticket for controllers.

@craiganderson See my comment above, and then put the image you want to use in for the platform background.

I think I fixed it @jaythompson, though I'm not sure if I was having the same problem. Just uploaded two new playlists to test it out.
