  1. @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT I finally got your massive videos downloaded just yesterday, so I'll take a look at all that stuff soon. Also, I will probably be adding options to disable the last game and last platform remembering as well as disable the taskbar hiding for the next version.
  2. Thanks guys. From what I can tell, there are no big emergency issues with 7.5; most of the previous stuff I saw was a false alarm. Of course that's not to say there aren't any issues; we did run into the following two surprises: - Startup videos aren't working on 32-bit machines (this was just me being stupid) - Audits supposedly don't always show all games (probably an issue with the threading algorithm) So I'll be looking at those issues shortly, as well as going through everything else in this thread. We'll probably put out a bugfix release in a week or so, but I don't plan to rush it out. Gonna take my time and keep focusing on bug fixes.
  3. Are you all squared away then as far as stability? I need to move on to some other things, but I'm sure the community can help you with platforms.
  4. Hi @CALLSTANLEY247, there are no 7.6 betas out yet; the latest version is still 7.5. I'm guessing maybe there are some invalid folders paths for your platforms that might be causing the issues.
  5. Hi everybody, I honestly haven't read through everything here yet, but I wanted to ask if anyone is having any stability problems with 7.5. I woke up to a couple people reporting that LaunchBox and Big Box won't start, so I'm trying to gauge if it's some kind of really obscure issue, or if it's affecting a broad range of people.
  6. Hi @CALLSTANLEY247, let's get this resolved; my apologies for any issues. What version did you upgrade from (what version did you have before the upgrade)? Is this a new issue with 7.5? If you can, zip up your LaunchBox\Data folder and email it out to me at jason@unbrokensoftware.com. That way I can test with it and see what might be happening.
  7. It's out as much as it's gonna be; feel free to download it there for free.
  8. You'd be surprised. Not only is it ridiculously hard to make it in the music industry, artists aren't paid very well because all the music labels are all super greedy and take all the money. I'm happy sticking with development (also not having to tour is a huge win).
  9. Lol. DANGIT WOOD!!!!!! No, but really, I suck at everything except for music and tech. Haven't done the music thing for a long time now either. I'd rather cater to the hundreds of thousands of people that use LaunchBox.
  10. Awesome, great to hear that people already knew Wood.
  11. I can do that. Not sure why it wouldn't let you. Also, just featured it in the news vid, John:
  12. Sure, we can add options for those here soon.
  13. Yeah, it is. Though that's a good question as to how to change the volume on it...we'll have to look into that.
  14. We gotta keep you guys on your toes.
  15. Awesome, thanks @Bardock. I did update the translation, but I am going to disable it for the official release here, which should be out shortly. Then we'll re-enable it for the first 7.6 beta and get everything squared away.
  16. @CTRL-ALT-DEFEAT I haven't looked through everything yet but I am going to go ahead with the official release. We'll get back to bug testing on that shortly after.
  17. Thanks Kevin, I do plan to add more features to the startup videos, but at a later date.
  18. Thanks @kmoney, yes I am aware of that. If there's not a ticket for it, we should add one. It's not a super high priority, but we should add a Platform option to the Steam importer.
  19. Good to know. Perhaps it's just the fact that we use DirectX XAudio for sound processing, much like games do. Sounds like this might be even more difficult to track down.
  20. I know folks had Commodore 64s in the US, but honestly I know nothing about them. I'm sure there's a version of BASIC for them, though; it'd be fun to play with. But yeah, as long as you don't mind me taking a while to figure things out and get it done.
  21. Hi @idmrbiggs, this error means you've run out of disk space. You'll need to free up some hard drive space.
  22. So much appreciated though. You do really amazing work. @CriticalCid amazes me sometimes though because it seems he has a knack for both lol.
  23. Ah, good find. Yes, I remember that now. Extra long scrolling notes can sometimes cause lag because of the text placement calculations; my solution for the default theme was to just set them to use a static percentage width, which resolved it performance-wise. @CriticalCid, we should work on that together to get that fixed for the CriticalZone themes.
  24. I'm guessing that it happens even if a video is paused. We noticed recently that VLC still does a lot of its processing while paused, so that might be it. Does it happen if you switch to using Windows Media Player as the video playback engine?
