  1. Thank you Scott, good to hear. I should be able to fix those issues without too much trouble, so I'll add that to my list to do before the official. :) Unfortunately I am still seeing the Big Box random crash related to VLC. I do have some further ideas but it's back to the drawing board again with that one.
  2. Hi Clive, there were a few things that were deleted and replaced with new fields. So it makes sense that the English pieces for those would indeed no longer be there, and in this case you can go ahead and delete the Spanish translation. However, there should be some new fields as well. For example, there should be an "automationTabPage.Text" or maybe a "controllerAutomationTabPage.Text" field in there as well that is new and needs translated. Do you not see any of those new fields?
  3. Just fixed a few bugs with the moderation, so if anyone was getting an error in their moderation queue, that is fixed now and moderation should work again. We've had a ton of great contributions in the last day or so, so the moderation queue could use some love. :) Thanks all!
  4. Awesome, great to have you back @AFaustini. Now would probably be the time as I'm hoping to put out 5.10 in the next few days. I can delay it for a few days if need be. :)
  5. Yeah, now is the time to collect for Xbox. The games are really cheap and so are the consoles. $2 Xbox games are everywhere.
  6. Thank you @Wattoo and @CliveBarker, I have the updated translations in 5.10-beta-4, which I just put out. Unfortunately I had to replace the controller AutoHotkey stuff due to further issues there (see the beta testing thread), so unfortunately there are once again more language changes. My apologies for the piece mailing. Up to you guys whether you want to update the translations again before the 5.10 official. It should just be the Strings and OptionsForm files that were changed. Thanks!
  7. Yeah, depends on the day I suppose. Just got an original Xbox in the mail today (late birthday present), so I have squeezed in a few games indeed. :)
  8. Wow, very nice @Mute64! That is always appreciated, so thank you very much. Let us know what kind of response you get. :)
  9. Oh, one more thing to note. You'll probably have to re-set your settings for the Controller Automation stuff, as they won't be retained from previous versions.
  10. Hahaha, that's what I do and look where it got me! ;)
  11. 5.10-beta-4 is out; I've replaced the entire Controller AutoHotkey feature with my own custom implementation (basically just removed the AutoHotkey portion and I use my own controller code). This should hopefully resolve the AutoHotkey issues that still remain due to the crappy Microsoft controller drivers and the issues they cause with AutoHotkey. The custom AutoHotkey scripts are, of course, still available as they were; this only replaces the Controller AutoHotkey close, volume, and activate features. The Controller AutoHotkey stuff is now called Controller Automation. I'd really appreciate some significant testing with this because I don't want to have to revisit it after the 5.10 release. Also in this beta, I'm *hoping* that the Big Box crashes that have been showing up recently will be fixed. As far as I can tell, they have something to do with VLC. It's hard to test for since I only get the crashes if I leave Big Box running overnight. So time will tell if this is fixed. If you do get the crashes, I'd appreciate if you could let me know and also test with the Windows Media Player engine instead in Big Box to see if you get the crashes that way as well. Finally, the Spanish and French languages have been updated again thanks to @CliveBarker and @Wattoo. Thanks all!
  12. Thanks @CADScott, I'll look into that bug. @DOS76, are you having to manually close LaunchBox for updates? I guess I'm confused because the updater should automatically close LaunchBox/Big Box before running the setup. Are you running the setup manually or using the automatic process?
  13. Just put out 5.10-beta-4, which completely replaces the controller AutoHotkey solution with custom code. It should behave the exact same way, but it's now called Controller Automation and it's my custom code instead of using AutoHotkey. Hopefully this fixes the issue? :)
  14. Oh, I was thinking by system you meant different computers. Sorry for that, I see now. I still don't understand what's going on, but do try Brad's instructions and let us know if that works or not. Thanks!
  15. So you're saying on one system it works, but on another system it doesn't, even with a fresh install on both. Odd. Instead of selecting a folder during the import, what happens if you Add Files instead and just select them all?
  16. Hi @bmonomad, that's indeed pretty odd. See if you can open up the LaunchBox.xml file in a text editor and search for those games to see if they're just orphaned somewhere.
  17. Okay, the Big Box occasional crashes that I'm seeing are apparently unrelated to the controller or AutoHotkey settings, as I turned both off completely and did still just get the crash. It only seems to crash for me if I leave it unattended for a while (like overnight). I'm switching to the Windows Media Player engine to see if the crash goes away in that scenario.
  18. Thanks guys, that error should be fixed now. It was showing the error when you were at the end of your queue. :)
  19. Hi @supergameco, it should work fine and it should actually scale down properly to a smaller resolution. That said, it doesn't look quite as nice with a 4:3 aspect ratio instead of 16:9, but it still should work fine. If you're considering purchasing Big Box, feel free and if something doesn't work right on your CRT just let me know and I can refund you (or fix the issue if you'd like).
  20. Wow, thank you @DR9. Are you using 32- or 64-bit Windows 7?
  21. Daytona USA is best played in the "Sega Model 2 Emulator": http://nebula.emulatronia.com/
  22. That's actually in the works, Scott. I started it but had to move on because it was taking more time than I expected and isn't the biggest priority. So I'll get back to that soon. :)
  23. Hmm, is the controller AutoHotkey stuff turned off as well?
  24. I'm seeing the problem when I enable game controllers, but it seems to go away when I turn them off completely. Seems like it doesn't matter whether controllers are connected or not. If they're enabled in Big Box, that seems to be what's causing it. That's just my initial observations though. If you guys can try turning off game controllers in Big Box to see if that seems to solve the issue, that'd be awesome.
  25. Sounds good, Brad. Yeah, I know that there was lots of discussion on setting up some rules, but I don't think anyone ever put anything concrete together. (I could be wrong, though.)
