I'd say LaunchBox Couch is probably the best from them. Or possibly LaunchBox Center. Some other ideas: LaunchBox Cabinet LaunchBox Kiosk LaunchBigBox LaunchFullBox LaunchCabinetBox etc. Have you considered abbreviating LaunchBox? So something like: LB Game Center LB Couch View etc. Or removing LaunchBox completely and selling it like a 'mode'? For example: CouchBox BigBox CouchMode CabinetMode KioskMode etc. Or any combination of all of the above, etc., etc.

Your best bet would be to use a virtual drive app that can be controlled from the command line. Such as DAEMON Tools Lite. So the command for DTLite would be something like: start "" "C:\Program Files (x86)\DAEMON Tools Lite\DTLite.exe" -mount D, %1% Windows 8 does natively mount ISO images and it can be done from the command line. However, it does not allow you to specify a drive letter and this can cause problems.

OK, so since this is still in very early development, I will start small and won't bother you with different views and such just yet. I think you should utilise the spare space you have on the screen just a little. For the game details view, I think you should add some screenshots at the bottom. I also think you should build in, from the start, a way to easily navigate to different letters. So a small quick find menu that can either pop in from the edge or always be there (your choice) like in the example below. As for viewing the other images (and videos eventually) I think a menu at the opposite side may be your best route. (See example below) For the platforms view, you should include a recently played list, so users can quickly get to the games they are currently playing. It still looked a little basic, so allowing the user to add the platform and developer logos makes it look a little more professional. (I understand laws would prohibit you from packaging the logos with LB) That's all for now.

I sometimes think my Roomba is trying to kill me. Tripped over it 3 times now. Either the battery is going or the wife wants me out of the picture. A friend of ours has a neighbour who's son has one of those little flying drones with a camera. We were in her garden a few months ago and It came flying up above the fence. He then started shouting hello to us and asked us to wave (he is only about 10). If a 10 year old can get his hands on one, anyone can. I fear one day I will find a naked video of myself on YouTube, because someone happened to fly one past my window after I got out of the shower!

Ah, but what about an AI using them for terrible terrible things?! Kidding aside, humans will certainly use them for terrible, terrible things. We already have unmanned machines in warfare, destroying, spying, stealing and killing. That will never end. If it can be weaponized, it will be weaponized. Like you said, robots are not something to be afraid of, it is the people controlling them and what they are capable of. It works the same for everything else; guns, blades, nukes, biological weapons, vehicles, etc, etc. Consider the positive applications though. For example, that one that throws the cinder blocks would be a great asset in Nepal right now.

Tools -> Download Metadata and Images a few lines down. No way! I completely missed the introduction of that feature. How long has that been there? I have been yearning for that feature for so long and to find out it is right there, I feel very silly.

+1 Yeah I absolutely agree with the sizing per platform thing. It is really needed. I don't use steam banners, I create my own covers. They are more the size of the normal posters, just a little "stubbier", or not as tall. I imported my entire Steam library last night and now it all looks a mess. I have it set to banners at present because it is more complete, however I removed the banners from the installed games because I want to use my own images for PC games. This leaves the steam banners very small with lots of space, it looks terrible. Yeah, I use IOBit Unistaller and IOBit unlocker (both portable). Never used AdvancedSystemCare but I have heard good things about it.

I envy you guys, I just can't do it. Granted, I might not collect everything and I might rush it, but I have to play the story through to the finish. If I try put it back on the shelf, it doesn't stay there long because I just get the urge to "put it to bed" like I need closure or something. It is weird and probably means I am a tad mad, but I like to believe that a dash of madness is not such a bad thing. That's what I tell myself anyway. Maybe I'm stark raving looney and just don't know it!

Ha, I find one exhausting never mind two or even three. I am one of four and I have no idea how my Mum coped with us. There is only 5 years between us all as well. Imagine 4 kids 5yo and under! Must have been utter chaos!!
