  1. No sorry, NeoRageX has no command-line options. Is there a specific reason you use NeoRageX?
  2. Also, if you want a uniform set to package with LB just give me a template (or specs for a template) and I will put it together. With a template, it should be a case of adding the logo, adding the device, done! So should take very little time.
  3. Honestly, I wish you would just pick already. But that's just me.
  4. @Jason I know. I uploading for the community now, for those who wish to customize. I spent a little more time on these ones since I'm no longer on a schedule. I will be refreshing most of them over time, but it will probably be in dribs and drabs. Maybe sooner once I get my hands on Project Couch, then it will probably go to the top of my list. @ChrisDude Thanks
  5. I did a new batch for Sega (sticking with my box theme). Did both US and Euro versions, I think I got them all.
  6. Yeah, drop IE and switch to Chrome or Firefox.
  7. Scree, you really should try Chrome or Firefox.
  8. OK, Cool. Maybe tiles would be a more fitting name?
  9. FBA should work fine. I use it. Try this. First, go to your rom directory and create a folder for each game (next to the zip file, this is important). Like this: Then in the folders create a .bat file and name it like the short-names FBA uses. Like this: Then in the batch file put this: @echo off cd .. set emu="PATH\TO\EUMLATOR\fba.exe" set game=%~n0 start /wait "Emulator" %emu% %game% Remember the quotes in the emulator path. Also, create the batch first and use it as a template (copy, paste, rename) If you have a lot of ROMs, I have a script floating around somewhere that should speed up the process. Now, when you add the games to LB, don't add an emulator, this will not work. You need to launch each individual script as if it was a game.exe NOTE: You can import all the ROM's using the ROM wizard and they will be named correctly if you check to use the folder name and don't use an emulator in LB. Sorry I didn't give you the correct method first time round. I forgot how FBA was tricky to set up.
  10. I want in! EDIT: Just the thanking joke that is. Hippyshake seems to have this covered. Great work Hippyshake
  11. @Jason The console clear logo I see above, does that replace the game logo or does it show if game doesn't have it's own logo? Great work btw. @Hippyshake If you are just looking to link to streaming services, by opening the browser, you can already do that. You should even be able to add your image like you would a platform (once Project Couch is here). Logging in is not possible though.

    Thank You

Hi Jason, +1 To everything everyone else said. This was completely unnecessary, but a very kind gesture all the same, so thank you. I am not in this for money, I believe in you and what you are trying to accomplish and I am just grateful I can be a part of it. I have been in and out of here for a long time now and it has been a privilege to watch LaunchBox (and the community) evolve. I am looking forward to seeing it evolve further. LB is coming on really well and I am happy for you Jason, truly. As for the community, well, all you guys are great, it really is a pleasure to be here. Like Clive said, everyone helps out and we don't have any hatred, a disagreement now and then, but it never turns nasty. A group of really great people. Here is to Jason, the community and LB's flourishing future. Cheers!
  13. OK, good luck. Give me a shout if you need any help.
  14. dennisjj4 said Change mode button? What modes are being changed? If it is types of media (i.e. games, books, comics, etc.) than how about simply "Change Media". See this thread: https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/features/surprise-new-home-theater-alpha-coming-out-soon
  15. Use a batch file in place of the emulator in LB. In the batch file, strip the name from the path and then launch the emulator using just the name. C:\PATH\TO\EMULATOR\fba64.exe %~n1 -r 800x600x32 Your ROM's will need to be named correctly though. Example: Street Fighter Alpha 3 = sfa3
  16. Jason Carr said Yeah, agreed. Great names, @ChrisDude and @DOS76. I think at this point, I've made the decision to simply call LaunchBox "LaunchBox". That's it. I'm not looking to rename it or come up with an entirely new name to use for the large mode. However, here's what we do need. We need a name to use to put on the button, and a name to use to put on the second EXE file that runs the home theater view. The button I'm thinking would be "(something) Mode", but "(something) View" probably works as well. I keep running back to "Big Box" mostly because it works well to put "Big Box Mode" on a button, and it also works well to have "LaunchBox.exe" and "BigBox.exe" as the EXE file names. Then we could use "Big Box Mode" and "Desktop Mode" and still call the entire app LaunchBox. So, going forward, let's limit name discussion to only names that would work well on a "Mode" or "View" button, and as the EXE name, and assume that the entire app will continue to be called LaunchBox. Thanks for the discussion guys, and all the great ideas. Sorry to keep redirecting everything, but that's why community discussion is so valuable; it really helps to identify all the possible options and focus on the best solution. Who's got ideas or wants to vote on a name that works for the "(something) Mode" or "(something) View" scenario? :) Ooops! Missed this post. Disregard my last post. So, button names... My suggestion's are "Immerse" and "Captivate"
  17. Try it without the %name bit. So: fba64.exe "FULL\PATH\TO\ROM\FILE" -r 640x480x32
  18. Jason Carr said Very cool, bd. I like the concept a lot. Needs a bit of polish, of course, but that's a great concept, assuming we do stick with Big Box. (Could be another reason to just run with Big Box; I like having LaunchBox.exe and BigBox.exe too). Of course, its just a quick draft. It was one of those moments where I felt a picture would say more than a thousand words. I think the latter image is a good representation of what Project Couch is, however I'm unsure if it would make a good logo. It was just an idea though, to get minds working. We still need the name. Per the names, I originally called it LaunchBox Theater, but I don't really like that name because it's still too "home theater"-ish. And again, since we want to appeal to other things as well, such as game cabinets, I'd rather not head in that direction. Personally, I think your making the right decision here. Those are some great names, @scree! I am fond of LaunchBox Max, or even MaxBox. I like LaunchBox Game Room even more I think. What would we put on the button for those names though? I've got one... wait for it... "Take it to the MAX!" Per the direction, this will be primarily for games (at least at first), with a heavy focus on easy control with a game controller. It's also worth noting that this is not planned to ever *replace* LaunchBox as it currently stands. I think the desktop interface is important to keep around, and re-implementing everything (like the wizards and such) in the new interface would be a tremendous time-sink. Not to mention I want to keep the new interface clean, primarily as a read-only mode. Eventually, I'll provide easy ways to switch to a game for editing in the desktop interface. +1
  19. The problem with the likes of theatre, cinema and such, is that they are more film/TV oriented words. It might confuse people who don't use/know-of LB. @Jason An idea popped into my head today regarding your logo (BigBox only). I made a draft. and that can become this: This was just an idea and I thought I'd share.
  20. Some alternatives for the arcade platforms. I am going to upgrade that cabinet image at some point.
