  1. It works so well that it doesn't even seem like a work around to me anymore.

    Mame Roms

LaunchBox has built in methods to filter out hack, bootlegs and clones all you have to do is check the appropriate checkboxes on the MAME form of the import wizard. Also if you have CHD files in with your ROMs don't import the folder instead go into File Explorer just hit sort by type and highlight all the .zips (or whatever compression your files are using) and drag them over into LaunchBox and that will open the import wizard go through the wizard and if you don't see the MAME specific form then abort because something is wrong with your platform association and it doesn't realize you are tying to use MAME. It works great I have the full ROM set and it only returns about 3K games out of the many thousand of games in the folder
  3. You have to use search in file explorer type cue into the search box and then drag all of the resulting files into LaunchBox
  4. Have you tried right clicking the LaunchBox.exe and running it as an administrator
  5. That is the development edition price I doubt that it will cost the end user 3k. It's expensive but it'd looks like it could have tons of potential in the future.
  6. Of what LaunchBox no the built in database is for all users regardless of what version of the program they have.
  7. Yeah like Brad said it causes permission issues I was hoping maybe you had it installed there and moving it would fix everything for you but definitely don't install it there. Also like Brad said Firewall and Antivirus would be your next best place to look.
  8. Okay then that isn't the issue then. I don't recall specifically but I believe there are permission issues if it is installed in either of the Program Files folders. You will have to wait for Jason to help you I don't know what can be causing your issue.
  9. You don't have LaunchBox installed on your C: drive in the Program Files(86x) or Program Files folders by any chance do you?
  10. We would love to know what the working script is for fullscreen. 007 Quantum of Solace is rotated by default that is one of the games I am using the 2nd emulator for.

    Mame Roms

When adding MAME games I would suggest not moving them into your LB folder but leaving them where they are already at with the CHD's and everything already in the folders where MAME expects to find them.
  12. By Game rotation you mean it knows which orientation the game should be in or that it lets you rotate it manually?
  13. In my Arcade image folder all the images are named after the game name now it LauncBox will change the images name from the ROM name to the games name I don't know since it can now parse the ROM names as the title name maybe this is possible. @CriticalCid have you actually done this and know for sure it works?
  14. It seems like you are getting a little less than you should from you results. I've included a screen shot of around the same place alphabetically and I have slightly better results than you do.
  15. I didn't accuse him at all just explained the situation but from now on I'll leave any questions like this to you or Brad.
  16. can you take a screen shot of your error message and post it also when the errors come up does it offer you the option to keep the information anyway? And how about the answers to the last few questions I asked you.
  17. Are you doing that from inside of LaunchBox? I know if the smartscreen pops up from there you can't run the program unless you go outside of LaunchBox and agree to run it from there first. Where do you have LaunchBox installed?
  18. No I don't use the LaunchBox game directory at all on most of my installs. Have you tried downloading LaunchBox again don't erase your LaunchBox.xml but download the program again and replace everything except the XML.
  19. Yeah you guys are assuming that he uses RA already if he doesn't then none of the things you guys have told him will be helpful at all. Also from helping him before there is a language gap that you have to account for also. So inquiring if he already uses RA is a good place to start and then you can try to help from there based on his knowledge of the basics of the program.
  20. In Bulk 1 Go into the platform you want to edit and hit control+a this will select all of your games 2 Go to tools on the menu and click it 3 Choose Download Metadata and Images 4 Run the wizard (If you already have some images then click the option to download but don't replace any existing data. Individually Choose a game and right click on it click edit (or hit Ctrl+E or use your cursor navigate to edit and press the enter key all three methods will work) If the game is linked to the database just click the download Images/Media button in the bottom right of the edit form. It should then offer you checkboxes for any media available from the local DB or from EmuMovies if you have an account. if the game isn't linked to the database hit the Search for Metadata butotn in the top right. if it finds anything then repeat the above steps
  21. yeah I don't know. Check in LaunchBox and make sure everything is still setup correctly besides that I don't know what you can do.
  22. What version of Windows do you have I know with Windows 10 you can't use iscsi drives which I think you need t mount TGCD's I use Magic Engine for TG16 but use TurboEngine for the CD games. I can't PCFX to work at all.
  23. Do you have an AHK script setup for your Model 3 emulator? Go to tools-manage emulators-SuperModel and click edit go to the AutoHotKey script if there isn't one in there that is why it doesn't work. If it isn't in there go to another emulator that has the script and then copy it into the Model 3 AHK script tab and then it should work. If it is there already and it doesn't work then I have no clue what the problem is.
  24. Maybe some on the AutoHotKey forum could help you.
