Jason wasn't sure if you are aware of this but The Old Computer is distributing older versions of LaunchBox on their site. Thought I would let you know in case you have any issues with that. I'm a member over there and have found them to have many valuable resources for the emulation community.

We've come a great distance in a short time when it comes to computer technology 5MB of memory the size of a piano now they have 8TB 3.5 drives and I think 2TB laptop drives. I wonder what that monstrosity would have set your company back

@scree they don't seem like the type of games you would be saving anyway just like Atari or Colecovision games simple fun (or at least funny to laugh at and be amazed at how far the evolution has come) without any true objective (well Adventure has an ending so I've read). @Randalf are you saying that your games have no sound and they are in black and white because that shouldn't be the case mine all have sound and color one of the .txt files in the doc folder discusses the command line that it excepts. I got use to what to do in the cmd today just by reading the .txt files of course I already know some simple command language to navigate through the directories if you do not know anything about using cmd then it could be problematic.

I'm using an X-Box 360 for Windows controller. It actually works in some of the other games I've tried without first launching them from command I can't get it to work with Alien Invader Plus even with it set in the command line for the emulator and that is one of the games that won't launch from the command line but will from LaunchBox why I don't know. It is strange that your games work in that format that is exactly the way I had it.

Yeah no dice with the controller for me either looks like a job for X-Padder. I got it working using O2EMLauncher and was hoping the config would carry over into the O2EM but that was a negative. I looked into the help file also and I am a little confused at how to set that up. Edit: Ok when I launch the game from command prompt and add the -s1=3 the next time I launch it from launch box the joystick does work but some games that will launch from LaunchBox won't open from the command prompt anyone know if there is a limit on how man characters a game name can be.

No lawyers here really no sense when you violate your probation you can't win and they got all the evidence they need with the multiple dirty urine's you've accumulated. They offered me rehab but I procrastinated getting in and the judge was unhappy with my lack of initiative so he gave me 10 months which was still a break I was facing 18 months max and that would have made it a prison sentence. At the time I was making between $800 and $900 a week tax free delivering pizzas but spending about a third of it getting high some time a little more if we got a nitrous tank that week or ran into some Logistic Service Division. -

I never really was just had a difference in opinion with the state on certain things regarding personal choices and found out that what I think doesn't really matter. When it comes down to a battle of wills the state makes a very powerful adversary. I've been much better since coming home. I stopped getting high over it and while it didn't really cause me any dysfunction it was a huge drain on my financial resources. -
I have it working it didn't like my ROM names once I take out the Spaces it fixes everything. I discovered this by getting it running from the command line first once I seen it wouldn't work with the ROMs I had I tried editing the naming (only 117 left to go and yeah I'll probably never play them)

Ok after reading this post I decided to try to set this up and I can't get it to work. If I use O2EMLauncher I can get it to start if I go through LaunchBox the command window starts and then just stops. I've added images of my paths I don't see what the issue is. The version I got from SourceForge doesn't include a BIOS folder I just added my own but it isn't working so that may be the issue where did you get the newer version from.

The form is actually fine on all of my TV's (I'm a firm believer that if you don't have a PC connected to your TV your not doing it right) I'm having issues on my secondary monitor in my room which is a 24" Asus monitor wall mounted on the side of my bed it is a swivel mount but I usually keep it in portrait. I'm using a different PC in my living room tonight and I did just check how the form looks on here and yeah its huge but yeah it is also chock full of data and options. I've designed some forms for a visual basics course I took at school and yeah this is a pretty complex form way more advanced then the three or four button forms we were learning.

Thanks Jason don't kill yourself over it though I'm probably a unique use case for that request. I just selfishly want to edit my games (setting up additional app functions to launch Daemon Tools and then unmount for more than 250 Saturn games at the moment is tedious work) and watch\mostly listen to TV at the same time

portrait is 1080x1920

so the path should be set to the game not the emulator.

Definitely not but I made the best of a bad situation. I came home as an excellent domino player and I read 127 novels. Me and my brother were on the same block and I had saved up ahead of time so we were eating lovely off of commissary plus trading nasty ass cookies for whole trays of food. It was only in the county facility and we had just moved from Camden county to Gloucester County which is a lot easier and less crowded place to stay all in all it sucked but it wasn't dangerous and it wasn't like I had any choice in the matter. -

Its been a long time (3/4/2005 the morning I left for my ten month all inclusive state sponsored vacation) but that looks delicious. Now I just hope that you don't get in trouble for posting it -
Yeah it works but it leads to a ton of work (over 250 games) the one time script would have been much nicer. I think the issue is that the script doesn't point anywhere so no image loads because it doesn't contain this info which I don't think would work for me since I am using .cue and all are in different folders and I don't really know what to make of the last line with the game.exe since that sounds like it would be for a PC game not a rom/image. @echo off set dtools="C:\PATH\TO\DT\DT.EXE" set iso="C:\PATH\TO\ISO\IMAGE.ISO" set gameexe="C:\PATH\TO\INSTALLED\GAME\EXE\FILE\GAME.EXE"

I can't get Clockwork Knights 2 to work in SSF it loads the game but when you pick to play part 2 it goes black screen and never responds again. The game however does work in Yabause I added the -i to the command line as the emulator from all platforms post says to do but that doesn't load the .cue so I was wondering if any of the command line ninjas we have around here may know if there are any commands I can give it to load this one game (so far).

Last night after the football game around 11:30 EST (I'm totally jealous of the west coast people who can watch football at 10AM and finish the late game by 8:30) I decided I was going to go in my room put LauchBox on my portrait monitor and add some more addition apps to my Saturn games while watching Plex on the main display the only issue with this is when you open the form to edit a game it is huge and extends off of the portrait monitor. Now this isn't the first program that behaves in this way but most of the others (possibly all) that I can recall allow you to resize the form so it fits on your monitor so I'm hoping that we could see some resizable forms added to LaunchBox.

argh that sounds like it should be complicated I'll look into it though. I have an additional question though when a game has multiple disk I name the second disk Disk 2 set the path to the .cue file for the second disk but I am unsure as what I should set the command line parameters to be. I then click the use emulator check box I've done this a few times before but now that I think of it I've never tried any of the games to see how it works I'm figuring it probably needs some kind of command to work.

Ok I am setting up additional apps for over 200 Saturn Games one for mount and one for unmount I've done about 50 of these so far (I can't get the .bat to work it never mounts the image so I have no choice but to put in the work) when I'm done I was wondering if there is some way that I can copy them to another system and edit them like you can with the XML file I would need to change the path to Daemon Tools and the application path to each game in the command-line parameters line I have at least three other systems to do this to so I'm looking at a lot of work I looked through my whole XML file and didn't see any mention to the additional apps for any of the games that I added them to so were are they kept and is there a way to move to another system and edit them.

If WMP doesn't play MP4 with codec there is something wrong with your WMP I had MP4 playing on XP version of WMP with codecs before I traded the PC in for $100 on a Windows 8 PC at BestBuy.

Yeah I never move my files either just use them from where they are.

Go to the folder where all you PS1 games are kept using Windows Explorer in the search bar type .cue select all the files and then drag them into LaunchBox. It is very effective.

Every time I put up my projector the cops come its crazy first it was if it was after 10 PM based on their noise ordnance law. Then they started coming before then siting some nuisance law they have on the books. That was the only time that they gave me a ticket the other times it was just a warning. She had her lawyer write to our landlords (who happens to be my aunt and uncle) and threaten to sue them for our behavior, she has security cameras only on the side of the house we live on pointing at our steps and in our yard (which some how is legal in the freest society on Earth (he said sarcastically)). She is a nightmare we have actually had the mayor come here and ask us not to park in front of her house while at the same time admitting that he had no way to enforce it if we did (my pops told him what was what though) and she has personally pressed charges against my father and my brother (twice). We actually recently threaten to sue her and her lawyer on ground of harassment and slander. My brother actually goes to court with her on the 21st for the latest incident. My parents have lived here for over 15 years without any issues with any of the other neighbors but this lady is just crazy. The patrol man know that she is a pain in the ass but she knows the mayor and the lead detective (only detective in this one horse suburb) so their hands are tied or so they say so they don't come off like the bad guys. We are originally from a small city across the river from Philadelphia where if you have beef with the neighbors you work it out on your own no cops involved. I've never called the cops on anyone in my life.
