  1. I suppose you could jury rig up something using a rubber band to pull an analog stick forward and then calibrate it, it may work. One of these converted to USB might work well.
  2. Yeah that is going to be a tough one to replicate the controls. I remember playing this game back in the day.
  3. The rom path is set to the folder of a specific game, 2Xtreme (EU). It should probably set to the folder above it, D:\ROMS\Playstation.
  4. CPS-3 games work fine in Mame but depending on which version of the game rom you are loading it requires a CHD to work. Get the latest Mame rom set from the pleasuredome git io page and Mame emulator from the official Mame site.
  5. Email support@unbrokensoftware.com I would also suggest not using your email address as your forum name.
  6. I can't help you with the background images, I never bothered to try and set that up but I feel my vector settings are pretty good. I compared it to my Asteroids deluxe cabinet and they were pretty close but no perfect, I don't think you can perfectly replicate a vector display on a modern display yet. HLSL has 2 different files for its settings, one for raster and one for vector. The scanlines won't be on the vector games.
  7. Yes, there are emulators for it.
  8. Naomi is a board used in arcade games from the late 90s. https://wiki.arcadeotaku.com/w/Sega_NAOMI
  9. Genesis and Master System are 2 different Sega consoles, Genesis is 16 bit and Master System is 8 bit like SNES and NES. Yes, they are emulated with the same core in Retroarch.
  10. The video contained a link to a website which had a link to copyright protected games.
  11. I don't have any wux format games but from what I understand that all you need to do is import the wux file and it should work since the emulator supports directly loading them.
  12. Did you try loading Mame games through RA on its own outside of LB ? If so do they work ? If they do work check in your edit emulator window for RA in LB and check that you have the "extract roms" box checked. If it is checked go to the associated platforms window of the edit emulator window and look for the platform you are using Mame with and uncheck the extract roms box for that platform.
  13. I would use the RA core, stand alone FBN can be a bit funky to setup and get working properly through a frontend.
  14. It does emulate consoles as well but I would suggest sticking to other emulators such as Mesen for NES.
  15. Sound issues like you describe are typically caused by performance issues like either your CPU isn't fast enough or is under a heavy load from other sources. Changing the video driver may be offloading some of that work to the graphics card or chip if using on board video. This could be an issue with RA not liking the Merged, it sounds weird but is possible. We always recommend sticking to stand alone Mame anyways.
  16. None of this makes any sense. Emulators and bios are 2 different things. Emulators are legal when the dev creates all of the code himself without any insider technical specs and information of the hardware being emulated. Bios is the basic core "operating system" of the emulator, it is software and is copyright protected. Nope. Some cores do have bios built in, the dev of the emulator took extra time and effort to create their own bios from scratch which is legal and is different from downloading a dumped bios. Just because you think it should be free and just because some rom site had them for download does not make it legal. This is correct except that Flycast is not a core of Redream, they are 2 completely different projects. Dolphin and PPSSPP devs created their own bios. Nope. No, this is also illegal and we will not jeopardize Jasons business by doing so. Firmware and bios are essentially the same thing, proprietary software written by the hardware manufacturer and is subject to copyright laws. This is just so much nope and wrong. Basically what you are saying is "nuh-huh, it's legal cause I think and say it is so what you ares aying is wrong" A quick Google search will show you that bios is illegal just like a rom or any other copyright protected software unless a company has legally released it to the public.
  17. Final Burn Neo is a continuation of Final Burn Alpha which is an arcade emulator much like Mame. FBN runs better on lower end hardware but it doesn't emulate has many games. The rom sets for FBN are also much smaller downloads.
  18. Then you have something setup incorrectly, likely you haven't added the rom path to the mame.ini file. I use a hand picked rom set myself and imported into LB so I know for sure it works.
  19. I would suggest using HLSL over BGFX, you have a lot more flexibility with HLSL and I have uploaded my settings for it here:

    Ps2

It's not impossible. If you are using a nightly build of PCSX2 some of the emulator settings in LB have to be changed, LB is setup for the official builds. Also, use the stand alone version of PCSX2 instead of the RA.
  21. The RA Mame core has issues, most notably it can have troubles with controls. The RA doesn't have the Mame controller stuff stripped from the emulator so the RA controller stuff and Mames can interfere with each other.
  22. I don't have an answer for you beyond making a backup of the core you need and replacing it when there is an update. This is just one of the many reasons we recommend using stand alone Mame over RA for arcade emulation.
