  1. You can add the platform in your LB setup though the database not have an entry for it because it is not a platform, just a programming language. You can easily add the games and load them through the emulator you want but scraping for media and metadata will be an issue.
  2. You cannot have playlists without a platform of some kind, the games get imported to a platform while playlists are for custom games lists such as favourites which can have games from multiple platforms. Everything after that such as breaking arcade games into sub categories such as Sega NAOMI or Model 2 is just personal preference, nothing wrong or better about it in terms of functionality, just initial setup because of the different emulators.
  3. In Launchbox you can right click the platform on the left hand side and edit, from there you can change the paths to the different media types. For games, just put them where you want them to be and when importing them tell Launchbox to leave them instead of moving or copying.
  4. Always check that the games work in the emulator outside of Launchbox first. It makes it much easier to troubleshoot.
  5. This might be doable with some other piece of 3rd party software but is not possible in Launchbox currently.
  6. Check that Retroarch is set to the proper refresh rate and also check that your display is set to 60hz or higher instead of 30. It's common for 4K TVs hooked up to a PC to default to 30hz and need to be changed.
  7. There is no reason to repost the thread multiple times, I deleted your other post.
  8. I have no idea what device you have and what techloky is.
  9. Arcade games are found in the Mame arcade rom sets which can be found if you google for pleasuredome mame.
  10. You cannot do bezels in LB on its own, you either need to use an emulator that supports it such as Retroarch or Mame, use RocketLauncher or dive into Reshade. Bezel support and a couple of other things that RL does was looked into adding to LB in the past but Jason deemed it to be too much of a hack job to do it properly so it was decided to not go forward with it.
  11. I'm not the right person to answer that question. I only emulate arcade stuff using Mame to be honest. I'm sure others around here will have more information for you.
  12. You don't need both FBN and Mame, just use Mame.
  13. Your options are very limited and none of them are great. https://www.emulator-zone.com/doc.php/3do/
  14. Well you could buy an old 3DO and play the games on it but other than that, no, you will need an emulator to play them.
  15. Make sure the check box for "extract files" is not enabled, that will prevent mame games from working.
  16. Do you have a screen shot of what you are referring too ? I don't see any icons or anything else on the bottom right when I load a game in Mesen. You can check the emulators Options > Preferences > Advanced window to see if anything is enabled there that might be causing it.
  17. Make sure that Mednafen is setup in LB correctly, especially the Associated Platforms.
  18. Send an email to support@unbrokensoftware.com and the should be able to help you out.
  19. There are guides here on the forums on getting Daphne working but in my experience it is such a pain in the ass and not worth the effort (IMHO), the games just do not excite me enough to go through that hassle.
  20. Yes, it's possible but I couldn't tell you how to get it working. If you just want Space Ace and the Dragons Lair games then take a look at the Wii version or Steam. Those will be much easier to setup.
  21. No one needs to dig up a 6 year old thread that was last posted in 3 years ago with a pointless answer.
  22. Buying emulation boxes is never a good idea, they are scams. Mame can be one of the trickier emulators to get running because you really want to match the rom set and emulation versions to each other and you want to have a complete set if you are new to it.
