Yes it does. This seems to be an ongoing issue with you, you keep downloading random files off the internet instead of downloading a full set that matches the version of Mame you are using. This sounds more like a emulation issue, not your PC. Only fix is to wait for the devs to fix it. This sounds like you haven't calibrated the wheel in the game in Mame. Edit: There is a c31boot.bin file in the crusnusa.zip file.

You can set the refresh rate in BigBox.

I use VRR (Nvidia G-Sync to be more specific) with BigBox without issues. Edit: If you are an Nvidia user trying uninstalling GeForce Experience, it has caused me issues in the past and I have long since ditched it.

Just my opinion and certainly not the official opinion of Jason or any other staff but CRT users are a small percentage of users when it comes to emulation. Setting it up is a pain and finding good condition CRTs are getting more difficult with each passing day (I am glad I have the 2 I do have).

Default is to not delete, the setting is in the first screen in the Settings, General.

Stand alone just means Mame itself from the official Mame site, not a core from a multi emulator like Retroarch. Just download the latest version of Mame from the official site and the Google search for "pleasuredome git io".

1) We recommend using stand alone Mame and the version number should match the rom set version to ensure the best compatibility with the games. 2) After you load a game if you press the Tab key on your keyboard you will see a menu and the two top entries will be Input (General) and Input (Machine). General will be where you will want to set up your basic controls, your universal controls that will work for the vast majority of games. Machine will be where you setup controls specific for the game you just loaded, these will over ride the General ones, use this for games with unique or different control schemes from most other games.

First off, this is not a Launchbox issue so please do not post it in the Launchbox Noobs section. I moved the thread to a more appropriate place. I have no idea where you are getting your roms from but by the sounds of it it is not a good place. The pleasuredome site has easy to get torrents of the sets you need and they all work as intended. Also this is not the place to complain about Mame sets or devs. Your issues are user error on your end, not the Mame devs or pleasuredome.

Some disk images come in cue + bin format and you want to import the cue file. This can vary by emulator but you want to import the file that you load into the emulator.

Ok then make sure your settings in LB look like the screenshots I posted. Make sure you imported the correct file to load the game ie: cue Make sure your platform name you imported the games to match the platform name in associated platforms.

Check the screenshots and make sure that those screens in their setup looks like that. Can you run games in the emulator outside of Launchbox ?

That would make sense, I don't use any 3rd party plugins in my setup.

That is really strange. Are you using version 13.0 or a beta version ? The only thing I can find in the settings that might cause this is the Use Game Background Images in Settings > Visuals > Backgrounds. Though I don't know if this will have any effect for you, mine was checked on but I unchecked it. I'll tag @Jason Carr, he would have a better answer for you.

No idea what would be causing this, it doesn't happen to me and I haven't seen any one else mention anything like this.
