    Use Simple64 https://simple64.github.io/ If you are getting graphical issues with any of the current N64 emulators check the settings of the emulator. All the current emulators should be running a game like Mark Kart without any issues.

    You don't have to re-import, you can just re-scrape the platform and get the media you want.

    When you got to the image type selection in the importer did you check or uncheck the one for advertisement flyer ? It should be checked because there is no box art for arcade games.

    Remove the command line parameter and enable fullscreen in the emulators settings.

    Maybe, to be perfectly honest I haven't bothered looking at it so I have no opinions or thoughts on it one way or another. It's also a multi emulator which I avoided recommending for the purposes of this guide to keep things simple for people. Often with multi emulators some systems are not as well emulated as others within the emulator. Now that I look at the original post the N64 section should be updated to use Simple64.

    It shouldn't cause performance issues. I have always had the details screen info disabled and never had an issue. Beyond that I have nothing I can add to help you out.

    You can download a Mame executable that matches your rom set. https://www.mamedev.org/oldrel.html Or you can update your romset and use the latest Mame version to go with it.

    Check for this mupen64plus_next_libretro.dll. Looks like the name has changed.

    Yes, I believe the default binding is the 6 face buttons being ABC and XYZ, same layout as the real controller. I don't remember.

    The switch at the bottom where it says 4 3 PC, set it to PC.

    Put the Hori FC into Xinput mode with the switch. I have 2 Hori FC pads and never had an issue with them in Windows.

    Did you edit your license file ?

    At this point in time no one should be using PJ64. Use Simple64 instead, it's much better and no BS nag screens. https://simple64.github.io/

    Don't copy or move, leave the file where it is. The emulator requires the folder structure of the game to remain and by copying or moving you break that.
