  1. Was there ever a method or option added to allow the user to change the box thumbnail size per platform in LB? I know this has been brought up multiple times over the years, but was it added and how do I get it to work? Thanks for the help.
  2. Ok... this can be disregarded. It appears my emulation drive (LB, roms, etc have their own drive) wasn't recognized temporarily and was getting this error. I've never seen it before and kind of seems totally inappropriate for the circumstances, but it's resolved and not related to LB itself. Sorry for the confusion. This YouTube shows the error I was seeing, although it's resolved and didn't have anything to do with this problem. Anyway... it's fixed.
  3. Windows 11... yes, sorry on the latest version of LB.
  4. For the first time ever, after years of running LB, I'm getting a Windows error message "this app cannot run on your PC" and to contact the developer. This is on the beta.
  5. What is the change with this? Does it include more categories for the metadata?
  6. Will the auto-import ignore importing files that you have previously, manually deleted from the library but files remain in the rom folders? If not, it seems like you would not be able to effectively manually delete from the library.
  7. How does the auto-importer handle if you have roms that aren't following any naming conventions?
  8. These 1G1R sets are pretty nice... I didn't like that some of them prefer an anniversary rom over the original rom, for example, but they do make a nice, clean set.
  9. Sorry if this was already discussed, but is the discovery center BB only, or is there a way to access it in LB?

  11. I thought I would give the Retro Acheivements a spin... got the API, did the hash check... tried a quick acheivement that was listed on the website for Castlevania... I completed it but nothing happened. I read above that .zip format is not supported? Is this true for NES roms, or would I have some other problem. Most of my roms are in a .zip format. Is there .zip support on the table in the future, or is that not a possibility?
  12. That worked. That was all I needed. Thank you.
  13. Sure... no problem. Thanks for replying. The new thread is here: Auto-Populate Rules Not Working - Troubleshooting - LaunchBox Community Forums (launchbox-app.com)
  14. As requested by faeran... a separate thread regarding auto-populate rules not working. Rules to not show a particular platform, etc in the playlist does not filter those properly. As requested, pictured here are an example of the rules that aren't working. The platforms that should be filtered still show in the playlist. This happens if you add the rules to an existing playlist or create a new one with those rules already added.
  15. As of beta 5 the auto populate issue I had mentioned still exists. I'm sure you guys may not have had time to look at it, but no one had replied about it so I'm just posting this feedback in the event that you thought it had been fixed during the beta updates.
  16. Just wondered if this fix was related to the auto-populate issues I mentioned (page 2 of this thread)?
  17. Along these same lines... I removed about half of the rom files in a platform directory, but when I run the "scan>for removed rom files" LaunchBox found no missing files.
  18. Not sure if this started with this beta or before, but I noticed that if you have a playlist, then add an auto-populate rule to not include a platform in the playlist, it does not remove those games from the playlist.
  19. I got this again today. I had closed LB and came back hours later and found that it would not start due to another instance and had to be task killed.
  20. Yeah... it seemed to be. I haven't had a chance to play with the 13.7 beta much yet, but this was happening in the previous beta cycle, and before I believe. Not all the time but sometimes.
  21. If it was not closing for, say, 10 minutes or more, would that be normal?
  22. Is this related to the issue I mentioned at the end of the previous beta cycle? "I am still occasionally having to force kill the Launchbox process when sometimes after closing and trying to re-open (even after a significant wait) I get a message that it is still running."
  23. The code wheel is so cool. Great nostagia element that will add to some games. Some of the other features like the saved settings are going to make things a lot nicer as well. I'm looking forward to seeing some of those code wheels though... it looks like a lot of time went into that. *edit* Has anyone heard what kind of file size this one will be? I want to make sure I'm ready when it comes out.
  24. I noticed that it was well annotated... for a guy like me that doesn't know much about this type of thing it can still be pretty confusing. I'm sure it's second nature for you though. I found some of those durations, but changing them didn't seem to do much. I mainly want to start the animations at the same time instead of staggered and maybe reduce the length. I'll take another look at it and see if I can figure it out.
