  1. I'm using the official MAME art for my arcade set, and noticed that a lot of marquees, for instance, aren't being picked up in LB... I'm assuming because the file that LB imported doesn't match the name (ex. aliensu and aliensj, aliensw, etc) of the art file exactly, even though LB is pointed to the proper directory for the marquees. Is there an easy way to get LB to pick up and use these art files without having to manually go through thousands of arcade games and do it manually? Thanks for the help.
  2. Thanks... I did that actually. There were a few conflicts, but I think I got them worked out. At least I'm learning a few small things about how these work.
  3. It's a nice option to have as an end user.
  4. Developer, release date, file, play mode, last played, region, etc...
  5. Thanks... I was trying to get the text under the thumbnails. I didn't realize it had to be coded in the theme for that to work. Sorry for the confusion.
  6. Thanks. I guess I was asking if the there was a way the user's selections in the general LB options (under game details) could control which categories show in the game details panel, or if the theme overrides those and would have to be altered to show the categories that the user might want.
  7. Thanks. I've posted the question in the Default Plus theme thread.
  8. I'm not able to get the "text on all games" to work for the default plus theme, even after I repair it. Just wondering if this is hard-coded into the theme not to be a working option, or a general bug? Thanks for the help.
  9. Should this work for all themes? I still can't get the "text on all games" to work for the default plus theme, even after I repair it. Just wondering if this is theme related or a general bug?
  10. If there are game details categories selected in the general options (publisher, series, etc) that aren't showing in game details, is this controlled by the theme files? If so, is there an easy way to add more categories that you might want? Thanks for the help.
  11. I like that JVC frame. I had one of those TVs, at one point, years ago.
  12. Just wondering if there are any known problems with the media downloader... the problem I'm having is that I can download images through the "edit" option for an individual game, but those same images (screenshots, etc) are not downloading through the media downloader for all selected images (this is with the LB database, not emumovies). I've tried changing the various options for the downloader, such as replace/don't replace media, etc... Is this something I'm causing, or a problem with the media downloader? Thanks for the help.
  13. I'm missing something. I just tried all your suggestions, but I get the same result every time. Thanks for the help, though. *edit* Oddly, I just tried this on Game Gear / Genesis (on the same core) and it worked fine, just as you said. Not sure why I'm having trouble with the Gameboy systems... but I decided to just switch to separate cores for those to prevent additional hassle. Thanks again.
  14. It doesn't seem to work for me. I save the shader directory option, then content directory in the overrides menu, but when I go back to a game in the other platform it still has the wrong shader (I did this process for both).
  15. Ah ok... thanks. I'll see if I can get it working.
  16. I know this is an old thread, but I've run into a similar problem trying to run two different shaders for GB and GBC, both running on the Gambette core. I know there is a save per directory in the shader "save" options, and my roms for the two platforms are in different directories, but each time I use this option to save my shader and parameters it doesn't seem to work... it will just load the same old core shader stuff for both platforms. Any other steps I should be taking to get this to work? Thanks for the help.
  17. He is definitely the man.
  18. Have you looked into ExoDos? It takes some extra reading commitment, but you can get a huge Dos collection where most everything is already prepped for you.
  19. Recently, I have been using Airy.
  20. I had an error today while trying to remove an image that it was open and could not be deleted. I haven't run into this problem in the past that I can remember. I think this beta cycle is over, but thought I would mention it anyway.
  21. When you run RA DosBox it is a completely different version of DosBox than the one that runs natively with LB. The emulation cores that are in RA are going to have a lot more that you can configure, which is just a benefit of RA. You can go into LB options > Tools > Manage > DosBox to get to the configuration options for the basic version of DosBox that comes with LB, but the options are pretty limited.
  22. Sundogak, do you have any problems with the command line options for (the standalone) mini vmac? Mine seems to refuse to recognize any of the options (I get the message about the argument being no good when I launch mini vmac). I've double checked that I'm using valid arguments with the gryphel website, tried entering them with different formats in and out of LB, and tried with the standard mini vmac and some variations I made thru the website, but it seems to continue rejecting them. I thought you might have some insight on it. Thanks.
  23. Thanks for the help. I took a look at it, but kept getting errors. I think I would be better suited to more configuration options in the interface, as the theme coding is a bit beyond me.
  24. Is it possible to turn off the icons and reclaim that space on the platform sidebar, or they have to be always on?
  25. Ok... sounds good. That is basically what I was looking to do, but it's not a big worry. Would it be the same problem with trying to reduce the minimum width of the side bar on the other side (the platforms bar)? Thanks again.
