  1. I had left one of the improperly cropped, missing media, games to see if the update corrected it, and it does display properly after the beta 3 update, but there is strange scrolling behavior after it was corrected... everything jumbling and not smooth after the details pane updated.
  2. The only example of missing media I had is still cropped in the new beta. It had clear logos showing as the images.
  3. Yes, that's the one I meant.
  4. This has probably already been noticed, but when a new game is added with no image, in the images view, it is cropped to the size of the games with images instead of resizing the row to fit the new game (like it has in the past).
  5. It's nice to see some basic things in Launchbox, like the image views optimizations getting some attention. Please keep these (and organization) improvements coming. Thank you.
  6. Here's the link to the tutorial: It's old but should still be the same. Just follow step by step. Keep in mind there is a new improved version of Daphne called Hypseus... a lot of the stuff in the tutorial will be the same or similar for Hypseus, so if you can get Daphne running you should be able to do it as well. This will get you started.
  7. This plugin has been incredibly useful to me. Thank you. I agree that it would be useful "per platform"... instead of running it before the emulator, is it possible to have the app run before all games in the platform?... meaning you add it to all games, but then it auto adds them to any game added to that platform. The difference would be that you wouldn't have to keep manually adding the app each time you added an individual game to the platform. This would be a big time saver as well. Thanks for considering.
  8. Thanks... they look nice, and I'm sure it took you a long time to get all these set up.
  9. Is there any way to change a rom file path, but maintain sub-folders (meaning each rom is in it's own folder)? Thanks for the help.
  10. I was looking for the nice "box art" top down pics on the google drive and I only see a gameplay screenshots folder, but they don't appear to be in there. Am I following the wrong link, or maybe they were removed?
  11. There's a lot of people hoping that the Dolphin core in RA will catch up with the standalone. There are other cores too that lag behind in RA for various reasons... it really just takes someone having time to work on them I guess.
  12. Thanks. It turns out it was Retroarch. I had set it to admin for some stuff I was working on, and that error started after it was set to admin.
  13. I've started getting, just today, an error "requested action required elevation" when trying to launch games. Not sure if this is related to a beta issue or is something on my end. I don't know of anything that I have changed. Thanks.
  14. I posted a mini-tutorial about this yesterday.
  15. I used to set them up with RocketLauncher, but lately I have been doing it as an additional app in Launchbox. This takes a little setup work, but since Launchbox is probably never going to support U360 mapping, this is probably the easiest way. You just have to have the command-line parameters field set up to match the mapping you want for that game (see my screenshot)... and they have to match how your .ugc files are named. To add these to a group of games in bulk, use JoeViking245's bulk additional app plugin. Make playlists using auto-populate for the different control types and then the bulk additional app plugin to add the UGC app to all apps in each of the playlists. There might be a couple stragglers that you have to do manually such as Qbert.
  16. Yes, the error dialog only stayed up for a short time, and it was only an annoyance. However, your little script has fixed the problem for me. Thanks for your help.
  17. I get the same error block exiting TeknoParrot games from desktop Launchbox.

    Mame

It sounds like he is launching retroarch, the emulator, through launchbox, but not attaching it to any roms, so it's just pulling up retroarch. Does that sound like what is happening, bitoldschool? If that is the case you may not have run the MAME rom importer yet?
  19. Thanks for the replies. I was thinking it would be handy and convenient to be able to right click on a platform, for instance, and disable/enable additional apps.
  20. Is there a way to turn that off for all additional apps for a platform, if you have multiple different ones?
  21. Is there a way to "pause" or temporarily turn off your additional apps to launch the vanilla version of your emulator if you need to, without having to remove the additional apps, and then add them all over again?
  22. This would be a great improvement for anyone with a controller that sends keyboard presses (which is common, like X-Arcade) if you could map your buttons for Launchbox.
  23. To be clear, my arcade controller sends button presses as numbers, letters, etc from the keyboard. I am not able to enter these presses on this screen so that I can use my controller to operate Launchbox: I would like to be able to select and start games with my controller. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  24. My arcade controller sends keyboard presses from the buttons. How can I map these to control LB? It appears that it will only accept controller buttons. Thanks for the help.
  25. There's a "default with logos" launchbox theme that has a great collection of logo icons for platforms and categories.
