well im not sure what your trying to play..if your trying to play jaguar roms ..use retroarch ... IF you are trying to play jaguar cd...then that probably isnt happening ...last i checked no one has a working emulator for jaguar cd , project tempest can boot images ,but that was about all it could do ,and i dont think its been updated in 10 yrs

i cant get fullscreen to work

since i have updated i cant seem to get retroarch or demul to keep their settings . I can go to each emulator and make changes to them , but once i go to use launch box none of the settings seem to transfer over to LB .If i go manually back to the emulator to launch ,the settings are still correct as i left them .They seem to refresh in launch box back to the emulators default settings .

You know i noticed this problem in version 6.3 ..when the latest build came out I notice the problem has lessened and more so depending on the fade in/out options .. i had all explosion's set on every option ..when i changed to to default i had no problems as of latest build .. my specs are Windows 8.1 Amd 8350 4.2 8 core Nvidia geforce 760 gtx 4gb 32 gb ram 13TB(5*3tb) Raid-5 HDD Im 99.9% sure its not system related , seems to me more so with Video ,it acts like as Vsync slow down

are you sure the problem is not the emulators ?? I use ssf only if the game is not capable in running yabuse , my tv resolution is a lot larger than the 1200x800 for SSF full-screen mode so i run it in a 2550x1440 window in SSF to make it run correctly . have you try building without RL and just the emulators themselves.?

im on version 6.6 pic#1 this bottom page of my LB as you can see RE4 and exceed are out of place pic#2 shows where games are without comments ,as you see payday is out of order and ther is no RE4 pic#3 adding sort comments pic#4 adding sort comments pic#5 adding sort comments pic#6 the end result, by adding comments the games are shifted to the LB end not in the order where they should be

I have severl titles for my windows game tab that LB did not sort in the proper order that were out of place .but anytime i add comments to the sort field it automatically adds them to the very end of the windows game list . The letters do not matter any comments added to sort field is moving them to the end

Well after a week of messing with trying to get Zenonia to play on my LB , i have finally come up with a solution to get the majority of Android games to work on you PC and Launchbox . Why is this solution being posted : I like the Zenonia Games and own all 6 , i had an older version of bluestacks and final added it to launch box after reading it could be done. The problem came in when i actually updated my bluestacks 0.8.0 to version 2.3 . After i updated I could no longer play the original three zenonia's on Bluestacks, but could play the latest three games 4,5 and S. I tried other solutions such as andy ,windroy ,ipadin ,and droid4x , but i ran into different problems with regard to launch box. So the solution is i came up with is adding a vim for bluetsacks and combine it with Launchbox through unity . why not use Virtualbox with seamless: Because i bought VMware back in school and own a legit license , I know everyone cant afford VMware but i figured if i tell everyone you can do it in VMware ,someone may figure a virtual box way. Im not goinna mess with it cause i already know how VMware works. what you need : VM workstation 10 or above Bluestacks version 0.8.0 and the latest build (http://forum.xda-developers.com/wiki/BlueStacks_App_Player#Official) 20 gb of Hard Drive space at least 4gb of ram on host machine for 2gb on the guest machine (works best with 4gb for guest ) a copy of Windows Now 1st thing you need to do is setup VM I will not go into that detail ..here is a setup guide that should help if you aren't familiar with VMware https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zE12ZWIvFfk The next set up to go to the XDA link above (0.8.0 4.0.4 Pre-rooted, Google Apps, Original ICS launcher) Go to your VM and share Your download folder with guest system ( https://www.vmware.com/support/ws45/doc/running_sharefold_ws.html) now install the bluestacks in the guest machine once installed add any apk file to blue stacks go to the apps folder on your guest machine and copy the the shortcut to the guest start menu (user>username>appdata>roaming>Microsoft>start menu ) Setup unity (http://www.howtogeek.com/171145/use-virtualboxs-seamless-mode-or-vmwares-unity-mode-to-seamlessly-run-programs-from-a-virtual-machine/) disable Bluestacks update service: Step1: Go to 'Task Manager'. Step2: Open Services tab. Step3: Click on 'Services..' button. Step4: Now find 'BlueStacks Updater Service' from the list. Step5: Right click on it and open its properties. Step6: Select startup type as 'Disabled' and click apply. Now once you have entered unity mode (ctrl+shift+u) move your mouse to the topleft corener and you should get a box pop up from here right click you game and create a shortcut to your host desktop. then move that shortcut to the host start menu (user>username>appdata>roaming>Microsoft>start menu ) finally open launchbox add it as you would a windows game you can install the latest blue stacks version on you host machine and now have legacy and current support for android games your done !!! thanks to Zárate for making his guide to help me with this( https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/emulation/android-1#p15858) keep in mind i tried every version of bluestacks from .8 to 9.4 for the legacy run ,while i did want the joystick support ,, i could not get the shortcuts to launch in LB on any higher version that .8.0 .if I tried to launch the short cut , my VM would freeze on launch bluestacks but never load the game . as an alternative you can use the pinnacle profiler for joystick support(http://pinnaclegameprofiler.com/) . it has a profile called Bluestacks that works for most games ,and you can add f11(for full screen ) and backspace(menu for some games like Zenonia) to the profile to get games to work .

I was following this topic(https://www.launchbox-app.com/forum/emulation/android-1#p15837) and was able to install android games . they are imported into my Windows platform. When i try to move them into there own platform , the platform is not available to select in my drop menu . if i add an emulator then the system system will force me to add an emulator is there a way to move it out of the windows platform and have LB not force an emulator ? is it possible just to add shortcuts as a rom file without LB requesting an emulator?

Type the game name the exact same way, except replace the roman numerals with numbers and keep the actual Title what it was. tried numbering them in the sort page with numbers and this is what i get now ultimate air combat and ultimate basketball come BEFORE ultima ,when they should come after

So using the sort field is the best possible way so it scrapes and sorts properly if it's bothering you. When you say sort title field are you speaking of the the item highlighted in the pic ?? because if it is then it is not working there . thats where i have been making the edits with the roman numerals and it doesnt like them

Beatlemaniac19 said @shadowfire36 I don't understand why the Ultima example is appearing that way. However, Wizards & Warriors II looks like it has a space between the "II" and the colon. When looking at the image, the distance between the roman numeral and the colon appear to be bigger on the second game in the series, not the third. With Ultima, my best guess is to try copying and pasting just "Ultima:" from the other two games, to the affected game's title. Maybe that'll work. This game might have another issue with the colon. no there is a spaceing difference , but i just used regular numbers and it works without the roman numerals ....Jason Carr said @shadowfire36, that sorting behavior is really weird. Just in case you happen to have something in the Sort Title field, for any of those games, that could explain it. You can override the default sort any way you wish by putting a value in the Sort Title field on your games. For example, if you have a sorting issue with roman numerals, you can just put Ultima 1, Ultima 2, Ultima 3, Ultima 4, etc. in the Sort Title field for those games and then they will show up in order. if you want a copy of my xml , i can uploaded or email ?.i really didnt want to have add numbers but i guess i can. is it possible in the future you can just add a sort order lie like in Kodi ? kodi names can be sorted by just adding the to the xml but retain its name ...just a thought

The issue in the 1st box shows ultima warriors of destiny after ultimate basketball and ultimate air combat and not grouped after 2nd ultima : quest of the avatar . well wouldn't two II go before 3 III's in hierarchy ? here is a back of my collections for my online DB . it show ultima in the correct order . but i cannot get to display correctly in my LB

I don't know why but for some reson i have 2 sets of games that will not properly in LB , but they seem to in my collections database online . I have added pics of the games , the 1st is ultima . for some reason 2 other games that should be after them are listed ahead of them in middle of the order . the second is wizards and warriors , I have them listed but for some reason Ironsword WW2 is listed after the 3rd one

here is my question , do you use retro-arch for any other type of iso images like sega cd or saturn ? i have learned that retroarch has a problem when auto selecting image files. In order to remedy this i copied my retro arch directory and renamed it retroarch_PSX then went into the the add emulator option and added it as a different emulator called retro_psx ,after this i removed all other cores in my directory and only kept the cores related to the psx . i enabled the medefecn psx core and saved the config file and the problem was solved. i run my iso's from a linux server and mapped that as my I:\ i have all my games working fine and i can run it from my laptop or my living room pc as well as my bedroom pc

actually have you had a chance to try it ? when you try to run the game from launch box it takes you to the boot screen for the Amiga , so i have tried setting the command line option in LB.. this is what i have parameter C:\Users\shadowfire36\Documents\FS-UAE\Configurations\default.fs-uae i cant seem to launch it ...or anything Is there a way to run .LHA or .Zip from the command line to mount as the file as the hard drive without the launcher . , or if its possible to use the arcade cabinets database files as a way to import the items from the arcade cabinet into launchbox

I have been trying to run the amiga for awhile through LB . Now first let me explain what im trying to accomplish before anyone just starts telling me to use Winuae . I want to be able to list one item in my launchbox and not multiple adf files .I really cant stand having 1 game such as , Aladdin or any other multiple disk , having 3-5 entries in LB, but its only 1 game . The issue i have with Winuae is that it does not load WHDload games directly (meaning drag and drop or clicking from the LB entry) , and the other thing is that if i click disk one , i have to stop ,hit f12 and load the other disk before i can even start to play .I have only managed to get Winuae to load the .slave, .LHA,.or zip with the information is through a working Workbench ,which is not the setup I want . Now i have tried many variations with Winuae but have been unable to get to load the .LHA or zip files with the full image install successfully.after days of trying i have finally managed to get to Fs-uae to work with the simple one file loading, Fs-uae has manged to meet the needs i have been looking for to run games from the .slave files in the zip or .LHA archives . I also uncovered that FS-uae has its own cabinet interface and builds a game database based of your library with artwork .After that your library is available to you online for access . What i was wondering if its possible to add a script to do some of these functions 1. have LB read the .sqlite database file and import that file into launch box for item selection ? 2.can rocket launcher or something similar help right a generic script that can auto create the command-lines for fs-uae to run here is some information on command lines features for Whdload ,but i couldn't figure out what needs to be done . 3.is ther a way to have th .slave fles run directy or have a script tht installs the multiple adf images ?
