I'm trying to add some of my PC games to launchbox but if I click Search for Metadata and it doesn't find anything, the game doesn't get added. I tried filling out as much info as I could, cliked OK and nothing. Does launchbox not allow for games to be added manually? Hopefully it's just a bug. I'm using ver 6.3 beta-1 Edit: Never mind. I'm retarded. I didn't pick the platform. It's all good.

Bedwyr, Given that the Hyperspin community has been super friendly and even provided Jason with the API to share all their artwork with Launchbox for free and the RocketLauncher team is working to create a plungin for Launchbox, again for free , I would say it would be really insulting to everyone making the cross over or even those of us working with both front ends to be told to take a hike. Same goes for Emumovies which is essentially the same community as Hyperspin. You cant have all our art work and enjoy the fruits of our labour and then tell us to stay over there. At this point in time, there will be a lot of crossover and a lot of people going back and forth. That's life!

I don't fromlostdays said I didn't see this addressed, but you can certainly use your HS media for LaunchBox, at least, I've done it with boxes and videos. You can even leave them in your hyperspin folder, you just have to set the path (and be sure to refresh). Also welcome Keltoigael. I don't see a way of changing the background on a per system basis. This really should be addressed. Using fan art is ok but not ideal. Maybe I'm missing something. I've only been playing around with this for a couple of hours. I background on a per system basis is something that is really needed. Fan art just doesn't do it for me. Most is not that good anyway.

When I scan for my PC games, they get automatically added under PC, however when I add a new game manually it defaults to Windows. Which is the proper place for them?

Is there an option to automatically link all the manuals and screenshots in rocketlauncher with Launchbox? I added SNES last night but it seems to me that you have to add the manuals manually for each game. It's a pain. There has to be an easier way. What am I missing?
