I'm in the process of adding them. Just got back from vacation. I already added a few. I created a high res top quality cover set for this system. You can get it from the hyperspin downloads section. I also have all the wheels. If you would like to help out, let me know. I could use help with the descriptions and such. Mobby games has a good list of games but I'm using the Hyperspin list since that is the most complete that I know of. I'm up to letter F

Nintendo Virtual Boy and Sammy Atomiswave have been updated with proper flyers. Atomiswave is only missing one flyer for Animal Basket. I'll see if I can upload it tonight.
-
They are all grouped under Taito Type x.

I was uploading fyers for the Atomiswave and came across 2 games that are the same in the DB Samurai Shodown VI: Tale of the World's Greatest Swordsman Samurai Spirits: Tenkaichi Kenkakuden I don't know what the naming shoud be. The arcade museum lists the flyer under Samurai Spirits: Tenkaichi Kenkakuden but lists the arcade information under Samurai Showdown IV: Tenkaichi Kenkakuden As it turns out, it's the 6th installment in the Samurai Spirits Saga. Confusing! Having said that, i also uploaded the wrong flyer for it. Please delete one of them, rename the one that's left to it's correct name and I'll upload the correct flyer this time. Thanks.

Thanks. That helps clarify things. My cleaned up artwork is from the original scans from sets already available over at hyperspin or emumovies I don't make alterations or redraw anything. I just remove the grain, retouch cracks, level out the blacks, readjust rotation if needed and adjust the colour balance slightly to make them look brand new again. As you know a lot of the scans in existence are of very poor quality or very faded. I just do my best to restore them to their original quality.

Ok thanks. Didn't know that. It only shows up once you actually click the image. Good thing you told me. I had no idea. Now, for Atomiswave for example, the cover art there was taken from a custom set on the net and it shows the green spine as part of the front cover on the left side. These were arcade games so they had flyers not cartrige cases. Should the custom covers get moved to front cover reconstructed instead? I mean, they weren't even cropped properly. I also have a 3D set for the PC-FX. The problem with it is that they are all 3D CD cases and PC-FX games were released either in a CD case or a long VHS style case. So whoever created the 3D set years ago, shrunk the VHS cases to fit in a CD case. Should I upload that set as well even if it's not completely correct?

I recently cleaned up box and flyer sets for the Virtual Boy, Sammy Atomiswave, AAE, Sega Model 2 and Model 3 and Laserdisc (Daphne and American Laser Games) which now seems to be missing from the games DB. Anyway, how do I go about updating the current sets in the DB? Do I add images and add the cleaned up sets even if that results in duplicate art work or does the person in charge of the DB want a link to my sets? I'm currently updating the PC-FX db...doing a few everyday so it might take a few weeks to finish. I'm also cleaning up a high res Sega CD set so soon there will be a lot of covers to update on that set as well. I completed Taito Type X section a while back (before someone started adding Nescicax Live games to it). You can see the quality of my cleanup artwork there or on the PC-FX section. I just want to know what I should do. Don't tell me it's complicated. I don't have time for complicated stuff. I can either click the add button or provide the moderator a link to my google drive.

So how do you go about watching the live stream on youtube? Is there a link?

I can upload them to the downloads section but can I update those files after? I don't have a complete package yet. I still have a lot to do. I'm all over the place between these and creating box art over at the hyperspin forums.

Time for backgrounds to go with the banners. I have my backgrounds set to a screening on 70% in Big Box. Adjust that setting to your preference.

I will. I'm not happy with that one. I didn't create that one. It's just a place holder for now. I haven't done any of the Sega ones either. there are some decent ones for Sega already created on another thread. I would post them here but I have no idea who created them.

Has the Twitch streaming change dates or times? It used to be on every Monday and Wednesday at 12:30 eastern time. I've been away for a while. I heard it's on you tube now as well. Is that true?

We can't even get the Games DB complete, never mind a movie database. Kodi and Ember is the way to go as lordmonkus mentioned.

I created a high quality set of 2D covers here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/13409-nec-pc-fx-2d-box-art/ I'll start filling out the NEC PC-FX section slowly. There doesn't seem to be anything there at the moment. Just like what I did with Taito type X, I'll upload covers, wheels and descriptions only.

There's something similar already created for Hyperspin. You can find the lists of best games for various systems here: http://www.hyperspin-fe.com/files/file/9751-my-best-of-listings/ You just need to create Launchbox playlists based on them. A bit tedious but it beats searching the net for best of lists.

Not sure what happened to my old tread but here we go again for those of us who like the classic BigBox look. These banners are based on the original console boxes.

What does this new function do? What is this multirom thing?
