  1. I like where your perfectionism is leading you : ) *whispers* pc engine */whispers*
  2. Yes, the classic arcade vid is perfect already. I just thought it was a shame to not use all of your beautiful cabs work on my setup. Pretty happy with the result!
  3. To people only using a single arcade category: I made myself a short montage featuring all the arcade systems videos. Clean fades for audio and video, maybe you'd like to grab it as well? multi_arcade_720p.mp4
Anyway, back to English, awesome work on the new arcade systems! Keep up the gorgeous work!
  5. Hi, just wanted to thank you for all these great logos. Also, I use more than one category for my PC games, so I made this for my setup. Maybe it could be useful to someone? Cheers!
  6. This is absolutely fantastic. I can't imagine the amount of work behind this. Thanks a billion for sharing, much appreciated. Quick question, out of curiosity: I noticed you called the sega 16bit "megadrive"( and not genesis), and I also noticed the Super Nintendo design (and not the US Snes design). I can guess you're an European retrogamer, so... why the turbographx and not the PC Engine design? Any reason in particular? (thanks again for your hard work!)
  7. Looks fantastic!
  8. The video folder is a great idea! Stocking the name of the current game and restart the random selection if the same game is picked again would be nice as well : ) Sometimes you're out of luck, and the same game is selected again and again in systems featuring only a few games (like 15 - 20 games).
  9. Very nice, thanks for the answer guys : ) It's silly, really: as my bigbox theme is set to launch the games directly without any game details, I never noticed I had the option to manage the games in this menu. Buttons shortcuts would be pretty nice indeed, but I'm glad to know it's already here. Thanks again, keep up the very good work!
  10. Hi there, Is there any way to manage your games when in BigBox mode? I'm mainly using this mode, so I have to go back to launchbox classic each time I want to hide or fav a game. I've carefully looked at the keyboard and gamepad mapping and didn't find anything. Is it by desgin, or will this feature come one day? Thanks for reading!
  11. Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for your great uploads. Thanks to you I'm discovering some great fanmade remakes and they're pretty rad. Please continue! : )
  12. Thanks for your answer! Yes, I'm 100% sure most people don't care at all about uploading their media. I spend time to add clear logos and stuff, for my collection, but I'm not motivated enough to upload them somewhere to share this content myself, so I definitely agree with that. That's even the whole point of using LB, not having to deal with media assets as they're supposed to be fetched by LB. So, it never will be a popular demand obviously. That said, what everybody wants is a solid game database with media in it. (which is very far from being the case for windows titles for now, which contrasts very much with the fantastic other databases) What if users could easily send their assets in a lazy way? Only a few dedicated users would make a huge difference I think. Let's say there is an option in LB, asking if you agree to send a few of your media to the server to help the community. It is deactivated by default, no intrusive stuff. Now, only if ticked: from time to time, in a passive way, with a very limited bandwidth impact, LB could scans a few of the Windows titles and see if you have something the server doesn't have. Then, grab the media. What a difference it would make for you guys! Aaaaaand, that's it. I'm done bugging you out. Thanks again for the answer!
  13. @Jason Carr I'm pretty new here, so please ignore my comment if you think I'm pushing this "upload your media directly from launchbox" too far. I was thinking about a slow start, only related to clear logos and boxes for PC games for now. Why? I'm sure we all add a lot of windows arcade / indies games to launchbox. And those games do not ask for work, you just type "gamename + logo" in google image, and you get an elegant transparent png logo straight from the press release or website. There is no need for more photoshop work, there is no author or anyone who could ask for credit. Also, pc games are by far the category which is the most ignored by every frontends. Finding media packages for them is insanely hard, as there is so many of them. So, with this feature only for pc games (all pc games, not only steam), you would get: - a serious advantage over other frontends - no risk of pissing anyone. - a small experiment with no consequences to see if some problems could emerge. How does it sound? : )
  14. Yep, problem solved! There is definitely as difference between the two builds, mupen64plus 2.5 accepts the close instruction, mupen64plus 2.5 (new dynarec) doesn't. Thanks for the help!
  15. Same here, back and start button on an Xbox 360 controller as well! I'll try a fresh mplus install, maybe it's only bad luck, or the new dynarec version doing something more in background which would be killed instead of the main app.
  16. Aaaaand... I just noticed I am already using Mupen64Plus 2.5 mupen64plus-bundle-win32-2.5.zipmupen64plus-bundle-win32-2.5-new-dynarec.zip < the one I installed. I'll try to normal one and see if it fixes the exit issue.
  17. @DOS76 No problem! Also, I'm glad to read some Mega CD love here, always appreciated : ) @lordmonkus Mupen64plus 2.5 it will be then, thanks a lot for your time! ( and I will switch to RA for Sega CD, it was mainly for TimeGal, but worst case scenario I'll look for the laserdisc version)
  18. Again, switching from Fusion to RA really isn't a problem, I can do that ( I only like to try different mega cd bios when a few cd images are tricky to launch ) So exit autokeys are working for Mupen, but not for MupenPlus? That's interesting, I'll will search if GlideN64 can be run into vanilla Mupen. When you download the GlideN64 plug in, MupenPlus is recommended, but maybe it will work anyway? Are you guys using it already?
  19. Hey, thanks for the super fast answer! : ) I'd like to be able to exit these emulators with a gamepad button as I already do for every other emulators. (I could switch from Fusion to Retroarch, I just like how some of the Sega CD features are handy to set in the standalone version. But yes, sadly Retroarch is very bad at N64 emulation.)
  20. HI! I'm building a gamepad only gaming setup, and I really like the autokeys features! It works beautifuly on every emulators of mine but 2: Kega Fusion and MupenPlus for N64. Any idea how I could fix this? Thanks : ) Before someone asks why I'm not using Retroarch: I do for many platforms, I like it! But MupenPlus supports a much better / recent video plug in than its retroarch core, which removes a lot of Retroarch glitches. ( ex: This is how Mario Tennis is displayed in Retroarch: https://wiki.libretro.com/index.php?title=File:RetroArch-0822-203402.png )
  21. Pretty cool, thank you!
  22. Aurel

    Depurate

That would be very useful, thanks for looking at this : ) As I play a lot of obscure games not available on emumovies, I had to dig every forums on the interweb to get some vids for them, often included in some giant packs. I think 50% of my video files are useless, and take tons of space in my launchbox folder. It would be fantastic to be able to clean this up!
