I configured Configurations\%File%.fs-uae as default command-line parameters. But it doesn't work I think - FS-UAE is not switching configurations from one game to another... at least on my side. It WOULD work if the launcher.exe would be first started with the dummy-config.fs-uae only, then closed and then started again with the uuid. But I don't think this can be done, or maybe with some sort of batch/vbs?

I've tried it out for myself now, it really is a problem, also for me who only uses uuids... If I for instance load game A and make a save state, then exit and load game B game A's save state is also in the list of game B's save states because they are all in the same folder with no name attached to them, only "save state 1 2" etc. I don't think this is something that can be corrected from outside FS-UAE EDIT I think I found a way... I tried this out in the cmd and it worked!! If you start FS-UAE with this: Launcher.exe Configurations\5a431769-af86-557d-956f-247be96be00e.fs-uae 5a431769-af86-557d-956f-247be96be00e (that means passing two parameters: first the config.fs-uae and second the uuid) then the game starts AND uses the config name!! What it needs is an empty dummy config file in the configurations sub-folder with the uuid-name and the ending *.fs-uae. But those could be generated by my app... Now I don't know if it is possible to configure Launchbox to send a command line like this. Do you know if it is possible to do this in Launchbox? Cheers...

@Jason Carr I made the jump to the latest beta now and I can confirm that the video playback stops when entering the "magnifying glass" virtual keyboard search. However - if a game only has music but no video associated, the music still continues to play... As for my problem no. 2 - I noticed this in other scenarios aswell now, not only in your program - seems to be an issue with my soundcard maybe it is slowly dying (it's a very old SoundBlaster X-Fi) - or it's an issue with Creative's Windows 10 drivers. So to clarify from my side - this is most likely NOT an issue on your program. Thanks.

@locvez In FS-USE, you first go to "settings" -> "File database" and make sure the folder your WHDLoads are in is chosen here. After that, go to "Update file database" and click "scan".

You can also try from cmd window in the FSUAE directory with "Launcher.exe uuid" - does this work? (taking the uuid that did not work through Launchbox) like mentioned here for example: http://eab.abime.net/showthread.php?t=77264 UUID is simply the ID in it's internal database FS-UAE gave your game...

@Zombeaver if he got the uuid entry and the folder via running my app then his settings in FS-UAE should be correct, otherwise the folder and uuid file wouldn't have been written. @flores9 please check your emulator settings in Launchbox according to what Zombeaver wrote and this screenshot:

I'm also working with two folders - folder 1 I exported everything I have with all variants and folder 2 is my actual linked folder in LB. I see no sense in importing >5.000 games into LB which I will never play (it's the same for all other systems, why do people import 10.000 MAME games?! They'll never play them and it only makes LB slow) and only move those game folders from 1 to 2 which I tried and tested and really wanna play...

Sure, you can use my tool in a video no problem :-) Haha - now that you say it - I forgot about the doubleclick too^^ Hm, it doesn't do this for me (see screenshots above), but I'm on an older version (6.8). Maybe @Jason Carr changed sth in the 6.9 Beta? I deliberatly chose the [] chars to seperate game name and variant name because I was aware LB would ignore anything after "special chars". Has this changed? The only idea would be to use other characters to seperate game and variant - but I should know which one to use then.

I believe this was patched in early 2015, so everyone normally should have the functionality.
