  1. Added: - Amstrad GX4000 - Panasonic 3DO
  2. Was almost gonna go with the G4600 in my build but decided to go all out on an i5 instead. I'm sure the G4600 would be fine though. I used to have the G3258 and that was a beast for the money I spent.
  3. Uhh... ok And yeah, should work in Retroarch without RocketLauncher.
  4. Looking good! Gonna be an emulation beast.
  5. Ended up cutting a hole in the jewel so I can still have the logo:
  6. Hey all, I posted this on the RocketLauncher forums but thought you guys might also like to use them. I'm making bezels for use with RocketLauncher. They're designed for 1920x1080 displays. I'll be making each to be as least distracting as possible while at the same time still filling in those ugly black bars. I've created a logo background for each system. See here for a few examples: I've also enhanced some of my old handheld bezels like so: You can view all the bezels here: https://mega.nz/#F!WYkGkaoA!oILq-t4Ohofc-dy-6qcG7A Just select as many as you want, download then paste them in your RocketLauncher/Media/Bezels folder. Keep checking back as I'll be adding new bezels as I make/test them.
  7. I think I've found a workaround. I've made a test AHK script that goes into the Autohotkey Script tab in Manage Emulators > Retroarch: FileCopy, D:\LaunchBox\Emulators\RetroArch\config\remaps\Genesis Plus GX\AHK\Sega Master System.rmp, D:\LaunchBox\Emulators\RetroArch\config\remaps\Genesis Plus GX\Genesis Plus GX.rmp, 1 It copies the file to where RetroArch expects it to be, then renames it to the core. This causes RetroArch to automatically load the config. Is there any way for me to check in the AHK script what core is being called?
  8. I'll have to have a tinker, thanks
  9. Do the configs also save the key remaps?
  10. I prefer using A and X instead of A and B, just feels better to me. I might have to do that if it comes down to it, but its a bit hacky, i can't believe there isn't an easier way to be honest.
  11. That's awesome, the only downside is that I live in England, so if you don't mind the hassle, I can pay the extra for postage to me.
  12. oh god no, I'll make a post and see what I can do, thanks
  13. Not really, but if I know how to do it with this system, I can do it with them all if needed.
  14. So there's no way to load core remap files?
  15. Hey, I've had a look at that, and I've tried using -c and also --appendconfig and that doesn't seem to work, unless im doing something wrong
  16. Hello, Here is my situation, I'm using the Genesis Plus GX core for a couple of systems, such as the Sega Genesis and the Sega Master System. I've remapped some keys for the Master System and they stay changed for the Genesis, I want to have separate key maps for each system and the only way I can think of doing that is to have separate remap files. This method works but doesn't auto load when I choose a game via launchbox. So my question is, what is the command line parameter for loading a Core Remap File? If I know the command then I can just edit the emulator settings in launcbox. Thanks
  17. Why not go for the i5 7500? Its only a couple extra dollars and its a bit more efficient Also, how do you plan on transporting this PC? If you have to carry it for long distances I think the Fractal Nano S will still be a bit too big. Try something like this http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=536 . I tried to look for smaller cases a while back but all the small form factor cases don't have room for a full size 3.5" drive. If you want to get your hands dirty and have the tools, you could always make or modify your own case. Shameless plug:
  18. That model is sick for your first time. Looking forward to seeing it completed!
  19. would love to have one to put on my xbox pc
  20. Posted the full build log here in case anyone wanted to see how I did it!:
  21. Hi guys, A few weeks ago I set out on the task of making myself a HTPC, but I wanted something special, so I shoved a whole computer inside of an original xbox case. Finished Product: Specs (Already had some components from previous build): PCPartPicker part list: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/K4Z7bj CPU: Intel - Core i5-7600 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor (£201.00 @ Amazon UK) CPU Cooler: Silverstone - AR06 40.2 CFM CPU Cooler (Purchased For £0.00) Motherboard: ASRock - H270M-ITX/ac Mini ITX LGA1151 Motherboard (£108.16 @ BT Shop) Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory (£112.98 @ Ebuyer) Storage: Western Digital - Green 120GB M.2-2280 Solid State Drive (£52.31 @ CCL Computers) Storage: Seagate - Momentus SpinPoint 2TB 2.5" 5400RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For £0.00) Storage: Seagate - Archive 8TB 3.5" 5900RPM Internal Hard Drive (Purchased For £0.00) Video Card: MSI - GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB Low Profile Video Card (£138.16 @ CCL Computers) Power Supply: SeaSonic - 300W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular Flex ATX Power Supply (£60.00) Other: NOCTUA NF-A6x25 PWM (£11.90) Other: Original Xbox (£15.00) Total: £699.51 Some Comments: Graphics card never reaches 65c~ under load Processor almost never reaches 70c~ under load I was really worried the small FlexATX power supply would sound like a jet as its basically a server power supply, but the fan is completely silent, even under load. I had to check that the fan was working as I was getting worried but all is good! Fans are audible in a quiet room but any noise will drown them out (like from a TV). Side fan is set to silent, I don't think I needed to use it with the middle cut out and meshed. Runs Windows 10 Enterprise with a custom shell that boots into Kodi for TV, Movies, Music, etc. Has the option to launch BigBox for emulation. It can run anything up to and including Wii U games (Although that emulator is still in development!). Build Log Album (Has lots of comments on how I made it): http://imgur.com/gallery/V3G2j If you guys have any questions feel free to ask
  22. Don't see why you couldn't fit all that in
  23. Cost me about £700. Already had the cooler and the two HDD's from a previous build.
  24. Just a small update. I managed to pretty much complete the project. I'll be sure to post pictures in the next couple days.
