  1. Will do, still running games and returning just fine. I guess I never tried WMP since it had a scary warning "Possible compatibility issues".
  2. Don't want to celebrate just yet, but I switched the video engine to Windows Media Player and the CPU usage went down by a lot. I've ran like 15 games and no issues yet. Edit: I'm actually pretty confident something with VLC is giving me high CPU usage. I switched back to VLC and immediately BigBox's CPU usage increases to 90%. Changed it back to Media Player and the CPU drops to 10%. Is there any way for me to update the bundled VLC player or something?
  3. Yeah I run it on all my machines, not had any problems yet.. well I say that..
  4. Hi, The version of windows I'm running still gets security upgrades, just without any of the bloatware such as the windows store, cortana and other major updates such as the creators update. The main reason I'm running that version is because the creators update broke a lot of functionality with exclusive mode on DS4 controllers. Anyways, I'll go through that list on Tuesday and report back if anything is fixed. I believe the LTSB builds of windows get updated for about 10 years. Edit: Is there a way to enable BigBox to output some logs? maybe that'll help if we know what its trying to do while returning to the program.
  5. I am running BigBox from Kodi, but I tested it just by itself, same problem. All emulators cause this problem. Start and shutdown screens are disabled. I'm confident its nothing to do with the cache as leaving it running causes no performance issues, even after 30min. The problem only appears when returning from playing a game. Pretty sure safe mode won't work since it uses generic graphics drivers.
  6. I appreciate the help but just tested with no AHK/InputMapper and I still have the same issue. Makes no sense to me.
  7. I'm not using any plugins whatsoever right now, I do however use rlauncher, but im looking to get rid of it soon in favour of wootlauncher. I'll disable inputmapper and AHK and see if that's the problem.
  8. Hi all, I've synced all the images, didn't make a difference, I'm pretty sure somethings wrong with the program to be honest. When it goes slow this is what my task manager looks like, I think you guys can agree that this isn't normal: The problem only occurs when returning from playing a game, so something about that is causing issues.
  9. I'm running Windows 10 LTSB 2016 so I don't have game mode, also the only nvidia software running is the control panel, not geforce experience
  10. BigBox uses a lot of CPU when it gets slow. I haven't tried cleaning up media, however I only tick the stuff I need so I don't think that'll fix anything. I've also cached all wheel images, not the others though. It's just strange that it only gets bad from returning to BigBox from playing games.
  11. I've also done the same for an Xbox One controller, feel free to also bundle this with your next release. Resolution is a bit smaller than the DS4 but it was all I could find online. XBOController.xcf
  12. Feel free I made a slight change to the image so make sure you have v2
  13. Hey, Hope you don't mind me posting this here. I got a black DS4 controller image, cleaned it up and made a template for people to use if they wanted, here's a sample: Just download and open up the file in GIMP then show/hide any buttons you want to highlight. Thanks again for this useful launcher. DS4ControllerV2.xcf
  14. Hi, just wanted to say that this plugin is really good, I've been looking for a rlauncher alternative and this is simple and effective. Thanks.
  15. Update: My problem is fixed. In case anyone else is having the same issues, I changed the video backend from VLC to Windows Media Player and that immediately solved the problem. You might need to restart BigBox for changes to take effect. --- Hi, I'm having performance issues with BigBox that get worse over time. The program runs fine at first, the menu is snappy and responsive, then over time as more games are played the performance gets worse, the menus become slower, videos take longer to load and overall it becomes difficult to navigate the menu. Restarting BigBox solves the problem until it gets bad again, where it'll need to be restarted once again. I've read the performance thread and done the following: - Defraged HDD's - Updated Drivers - Disabled background images - Reduced image quality to medium I believe the PC should be more than capable of running BigBox, any help is appreciated, thanks. PC Specs: Windows 10 Enterprise 2016 LTSB 64-bit Intel i5 7600 @ 3.5Ghz 16GB DDR4 Ram ASRock H270M-ITX/ac NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050ti 4GB 500GB M.2 SSD (Boot/Launchbox & Media) 2TB HDD (Steam Games) 8TB HDD (ROMs) Edit: I recorded a demo so you can see what I mean. Runs normally until 3:45, then starts to get bad. Runs really bad at 4:45. Restart at 5:30 then it runs fine again. Edit2: Task Manager when it goes super slow
  16. This is great thanks, was using an overly complicated AHK script before to copy in the configs, but this is much better.
Don't know why people are leaving shit reviews. Works perfect. People need to realise this is for Windows only, as that is the only platform LaunchBox currently works on.
  17. It might work but I remember changing something a while ago so RocketLauncher would work with Arcade as the name instead of MAME. Can't remember what though.
  18. Added: - Arcade - GCE Vectrex You might need to rename Arcade to MAME for it to work by default in rocket launcher. I had to tweak some settings in MAME for the games to line correctly with the Vectrex Bezels.
  19. Added: - Nintendo DS Updated: - Sega Game Gear
  20. Added: - Sega Dreamcast - Sega Game Gear - Sega Saturn
